Greetings
I know there's already threads on AUS seasons but I don't wanna get spoiled so I'm just starting fresh. Tho I think I know two Aus winners and will recognize them when I start their seasons but oh well
I hear its best to skip the first two seasons and just jump into the 2016 reboot aka s3. So heeeere we go! | |

I copied my previous opinion from the all stars thread (corrected the numbers so they include pre reboot seasons):
Season 3 was gooood iirc.
Season 4 is terrible.
Season 5 is good.
Season 6 is the best imo.
Then AS had dog shite twists but it’s good and has an epic cast. | | |

Cast already feels more authentic than most US casts in at least 20 seasons
You can already feel the amount of breathing room given. I’m 30 minutes in and still on intro camp life for tribe 2 of 3. At this same point in a US premiere we would already have an IC loser lol | |

Episode 3 is so juicy so far

They took a very standard Survivor situation (clue vs something for the tribe) and milked maximum drama out of it. I love what went down with Rohan losing the clue and Evan finding it and ratting him out and then Rohan spilling it all before Evan could tell Lee, great stuff. Still only partway through it
This same scenario on the US version would likely result in nothing new and be glossed over in five minutes, but this is really showing the ripple effects on each tribe
