It was pretty weird hearing the name drops at the end of the trailer. It pulled me right back down to earth and reminded me that this is unfortunately an MCU movie
Really don't know what to think about this...or any of the Marvel movies this year tbh! Except Spiderman, I'm sure that'll be solid. This one at least seems to have more potential than Black Widow or Shang-Chi. But for now...eh!
They better have a daaamn good explanation of why these characters were on Earth all this time and didn't lift a finger during the whole Thanos incident (:
And yeah the end felt pretty tacked on just to remind everyone that they're indeed watching a trailer for a Marvel movie
had a friend over to watch it a couple days ago, making fun of it the whole way through definitely helped with how much of a slog a lot of it was
still think the derision was way overblown tho. It's nowhere near the worst Marvel movie for me, not even the worst one they put out last year. It had bad dialogue and way too many characters (should've been a mini-series), but it at least was nice to look at which is more than you can say for a lot of the samey MCU movies. And honestly some of the IDEAS it explored were pretty interesting even though it unsurprisingly barely scratched the surface with any of them
needed more Kit Harrington which I'm surprised to be saying. Also could've used more Gilgamesh falcon punching things, best Eternal ez
