Teams left the crowded streets of Delhi for the airport where there was QUITE the difficulty finding flights. For possibly the first time all season, there was a bit of unclear developments regarding what flights everyone would get on.

Roland and Sadiq, in particular, were searching the airport for clues. Hoping one of the other teams would clue them in, Roland and Sadiq found their U-turn buddies Nick Pat and Gregg Hat.

Roland" "Hey guys so I'm unsure I have the best flight. Y'all want to share some info? We almost made it to the top three so close!"

Sadly, Roland & Sadiq did not make it on t the same plane as everyone else. Vern/TiB, Nick/Pat, and Jake/Dyl are on the earlier itinerary scheduled to arrive in Manila at 14:00. This path has a 3 hr 45 min layover in Abu Dhabi. Meanwhile, Roland & Sadiq received ZERO information from their former "allies" and was relegated to the second plane traveling through Dubai scheduled to arrive over two hours later at 16:15.

The question would be: would any layover delays impact these arrivals???

A certain someone is in my DMs discussing how to book flights so I'm skipping theatrics and informing you all that after a random roll there were NO delays!

Therefore Roland & Sadiq will have to find a way to make up a two-hour delay or be eliminated!

Upon landing in Manila, teams drove themselves (by JEEPNEY, Gregg Pat) to the mud flats where a roadblock began! No delays in the driving as everyone selected a unique time. Four team members would be getting down and dirty trying to search the mud, and a virtual maze, for their next clue.

Gregg Pat exited the pit in 21 minutes, followed closely by Jake who completed his challenge in 29 minutes. They got started back to Manila while TiB floundered in the mud.

30 minutes went by....



45 minutes went by....





















An HOUR went by.....

TiB was just about ready to throw in the towel. It was his 20th towel thrown in actually since the first 19 were so muddy. But then, the voices of his brother Rodg and niece Maddie started filling his head...

Rodg: "Don't give up, boy! Do it for the TiB family!

Maddie: "Why is a grown man thinking about what an underage teenage girl would say?"

TIB, in a sudden surge of energy, raced around the mud pit and after 63 elapsed minutes finally found his clue!

It was at this time that Roland/Sadiq's flight landed. After a few minutes, Jake/Dyl and then Gregg/Nick showed up at the National Museum of the Philippines where they had to decide between BEACHES puzzle or PEACHES flash game. Both teams chose the puzzle option where Jake/Dyl smoked the pieces to the tune of combined SEVEN minutes! Nick/gregg were shortly behind with a combined puzzle time of 12 minutes.

Back at the ranch mud pits, Sadiq blazed through the maze detour in 26 minutes, and with their shortest combined driving times, begin to close the gap with Vern & TiB.

TiB and Vern pulled up to the museum and chose to slice some fruits! That turned out to be vegetables due to potential copyright infringement. Meanwhile on the less healthier side of the food pyramid, Jake/Dyl and Nick/Gregg show up to eat some desserts! The random draws were not in their favors but they didnt quite mind.

Roland/Sadiq were continuing their jeepney journey back to the museum and then Vern/TiB were close to finishing the detour.

It was a race to the pit stop to see who would get first place...

Gregg Pat & Nick Hat, that makes you team number two. I hope you enjoyed your longest jeepney rides. You were about 11 minutes slower than Jake & Dyl on the two self-drives which caused you to come up short. But it's about the $20 prize, which you will be racing for!

A poetic way to end the final pre-finish line leg as TiB/Vern and Roland/Sadiq had to battle it out. Let's see who came in third...

Phil: "Roland and Sadiq, all I can say is wow. The flight info was crucial to success in this leg, and unfortunately at the final four it's so tough to be able to trust anyone. You arrived in Manila 2 hours 15 minutes past all the other teams, and unfortunately the other three duos have been checked in for quite some time now.

You are the last team to arrive and you have been eliminated. We truly appreciate the passion and spice you brought to this season and we hope you don't take this elimination too tough! You fought off a lot of strong competition to get to this point. No shame whatsoever!"
