Five days later

Akmong's journal proved to be both convenient and resourceful. In it, the crazed Akmong Sus detailed his secret hatred for King Lockhart and his willingness to go to great lengths to enact revenge for an unknown incident. You learned that Akmong was willing to pay a great sum of gold to someone named Boghat who resided atop The White Rise, a mountain range five days north of Brinebourne. The ten thousand gold payment from Akmong to Boghat was in exchange for what he called 'limitless power', enough to destroy the city of Brinebourne and anyone unlucky enough to reside in it.

As you continued to flipped through, Akmong detailed his plans to hire the giant to steal the Kings beloved pet, and in turn betray the giant, and presumably you, to collect the reward money himself. You theorize that the unplanned death of the giant at the hands of Mansfield Stonemont caused Akmong to have to shift his plans and pin the theft on your parties instead.

And thus you were set off on your final quest, by order of King Lockhart. You were to travel North to The White Rise, interrupt Akmong and Boghat's exchange, and stop Akmong from attaining the power to destroy Brinebourne.

You've traveled by horseback for five days through increasingly cold temperatures and harsh terrain, but you finally find yourself gazing up at The White Rise, a daunting peak that ascends up into the clouds.

You look to your two party members, each of you beaten and worn, but ready to begin your final challenge.




Main Quest #1: Route

There are several known routes to reach the top of The White Rise. As a party, decide which route to take.

A. South Icefall
B. Bukrong Glacier
C. The Spridown Couloir
D. Reservation Ridge



Main Quest #2: Base Camp

While making camp on the first night on the mountain, you come across a pack of wandering, frozen Treants. The four large, animated trees don't seem to notice you. Choose individually: What do you do?

A. Attack them
B. Do nothing but rest (will restore one hp)



Side Quest #1: The Vault

Halfway up the peak you discover a hidden, iron vault encased in ice. After chipping away some of the ice, you face a choice. If you have a key, do you wish to use it?

A. Yes
B. No
