So glad to make it to the merge!! Cormac and Madam Pomfrey immediately asked me what I thought of things that happened and what happened. They already got a mouthful from Lockhart, so I was like their second helping.

I guess Lockhart also mentioned that Snape had the Hufflepuff idol(which is news to me), but my thought is that Snape may have passed this to Amos or Lockhart. It may not really be gone like he is trying to tell people.

I told them how ultimately Lockhart lied to me again. I thought Amos was getting 3 votes until 10 minutes before the deadline .Of course it ended up being amazing, the items used and wasted, etc. However, I still wish I was in on this happening more then 10 minutes before the vote again. Such a mess.

When presented with the Snape VS Mirabella vote. The major pro for Mirabella going is the idol being gone. Other then that, I have no other pro. Snape is with Lockhart/Amos = Two people I can't work with long term, because Amos is someone I just voted for now. Snape is also close to Lily, someone else I once voted for. In addition, the entire alliance chat he made with Draco, me, and Lockhart was to TELL us to vote for Mirabella. It was a direct order. I feel like Snape has been about his agenda, and his want to take our Mirabella so much that it clouded him playing any other game. Mirabella is a threat because of her idol, but you cannot be blinded to only wanting her out. In addition, you have to listen to the people you are trying to align with.

I think with Mirabella, Newt, and Draco I have people that may actually have my back in this merge situation. We can see what everyone is saying now and go from there. Will Lockhart/Amos be the target or something else? We have to see. But I think it's something to get me started as I figure out what Pomfrey, Cormac, Fred, etc. have been up to and meet the new people.

I am playing for the end game not just to make a big flashy move. I think Lockhart is struggling with wanting to be remembered more then doing well. I could carealess about being remembered. #socialgame #strategy

The only information so far I got from the other tribes was that they were pretty boring. Minerva vs Madame Maxime happened before she left. Kind of jealous of their smooth journey, but I think my bumpy road gives me character.

This merge has been very quiet so far. I finally had the chance to speak to Angelina and she seems really awesome and nice, but our conversations thus far have been very on the surface. No game talk at all. Amos and me talked a bit about last round. I let him know that I felt least connected with him and how we were unable to feel comfortable enough to talk about the vote so it was easiest to vote for him. We have been talking a lot more this round though and it has been super awesome. Cormac hasn't been around too much but when he has we have caught up with the past. Fred has been around a ton and told me about his prize from the auction--that he gets to be the heir until the Final 8. I think this was easily the best prize of the bunch and super glad he got it. He also let me know that someone had the Hufflepuff idol, Lockhart is claiming that Snape had it. When getting into this common room though, it looks as though someone had to give it to another player. I am wondering if Snape got in and gave it to Lockhart? Or Lily? Hmmm. Interesting.

Madam Pomfrey and me reconnected <3 I gave her all the beans and explained how I want to work with her long term, etc. I think my goal with this round is to be sure that Fred/Cormac/Madam Pomfrey see my benefit to have in this game. This way if they trust and work with Amos/Lockhart..my name is not the target. It would be Newt/Mira/Draco before me, ideally.

Mira/Draco/Newt will likely target Amos/Lockhart depending on what they hear from other people.

Lily and I have been on the surface chatting as well. Same can be said about Madame Maxime and me. I am trying to stay calm through this quietness-but it is making me super nervous. Legit a vote being 100% happening has not occurred. The only names I have heard have been Amos/Lockhart from Mira and Draco. Which was obvious. Then Madam Pomfrey told me she has also heard Mira and Newt(I am guessing from Lockhart/Amos).

I told Pomfrey I was not against keeping Lockhart around, but that I could not trust him long term. Which she seems to understand and get.

I am trying to figure out the best way for me to get to the end. My idea was perhaps to have Fred, Cormac, Draco, Madam Pomfrey <--these people, maybe minus Draco? As they seem to be kind of playing the middle. If enough of Mira/Newt/Lockhart/Amos left, and Angelina/Lily were soon after--I could see it kind of working into a majority if I can keep gaining their trust and trying to move forward. I just don't know what else Fred might have going on. He seems to know a ton of information. I am glad he is sharing it with me, but he may have other deals with Lily/Angelina/Lockhart I am not sure.

I am expecting today to get crazy. But it may also just be super quiet. If it stays on Amos/Lockhart, I also have to consider if I want to vote with Mira/Newt/Draco and risk myself looking like I am just apart of a group of 4 which would be lame.

So Poppy/Cormac have told me that Newt is getting votes and not to tell anyone. Maxime made a chat to get votes together for Newt/Me/Draco/Mira/Her/Angelina/Fred, but Fred never showed up. Angelina couldn't find the poll. It was super awkward. So I leak everything to Poppy and Cormac to keep them close. I tell everyone about 30 min before the vote that I am just going to throw my vote at Lily since this is all so awkward and I never talk to her anyway so it won't bug me if she is mad. LOL. I even tell Lockhart, because he tells me Lily brought my name up and I need to gain some little bit of trust back with him if people are actually playing this game with him. Newt sounds like he is going, Mira is using the idol. I am so nervous but I think if I did enough 1:1 bonding I will be okay. Fred, Cormac, Draco, Mira, even Angelina and Maxime aren't going to want me out! Even Lockhart prob sees a benefit to having me here versus Mira/Newt/Draco.

I have to just play this card for now until the people I want to work with and gaining trust: Poppy, Fred, Cormac are ready to make some real moves in this game to start taking control. I can wait. Don't worry about me!!
