Draco, it's actually good to hear that you were more involved in the game than I could see, unfortunately I am getting the impression that a lot of us saw you as being MIA and only coming around once or twice a day. I don't have any specific question for you but I will have a question I would like all of you to answer at the end. Please feel free to answer any part of the other questions I ask Ron/Mira or add any comments you feel could fill in pieces!
Hey Angelina! No hard feelings, its a shame I was viewed as MIA when I was actively here. I did pick up a busy schedule and discovered unwanted news, it definitely took time away from my computer time had my life been different, but I was online at least every day from 8PM-2AM EST. I do understand that people may have wanted more but I intend to deliver. I was active, I was here. I don't like to combat or comment on other finalists answers, I think it shows a bad attitude and it sniffs out an ugly behavior, but if it helps you, I'd absolutely do that thoroughly but if you don't have anything specific than I'll just answer the one you'd like us all to. But I hope you change your mind and can see my game for what it is, if there's anything from the other questions and answers that you're now seeing, I'd love to answer. Thanks Angelina!
Alright, the thing I would like for you all to do for me is to tell me one memorable conversation or interaction that you each personally had with each of the jurors and also compliment one thing about their game play. The only rule is that you cannot answer this about me! Finally, I would also like you to post your favorite Snape mem or gif just for fun!
Pomfrey: My first memory of Madame Pomfrey is her take on healing potions and recipes for drinks. I think one was heavily based in Vodka and Avodka kevada. I also (even though I talked with Mirabella and Ron about this too) but one of our first conversations were about how awesome Black Mirror is and how awesome season 4 is! Hang the DJ, Crocodile and USS Callister are so fucking good! I think Pomfrey had a great social game, she came into the game so light hearted and not at all playing as Pomfrey but she just was genuine about her personality and was able to play an awesome social game because of it. I think she could've been here and if she was I think she'd win!
Fred: Kingdom Hearts <3 Fred and I talked a lot premerge, something we both bonded over was about how amazing the Kingdom Hearts series, how satisfying it is to beat and how emotionally invested you get by the end! When I was a kid and I beat the first one, I cried when Kairi and Sora's hand's separated when he said, "I'll come back for you, I promise" and she replied, "I know you will" BOOM hands separate
I respected Fred's ability to forgive... I voted for Fred out of panic, I was working and returned at home with 30 minutes to vote, I spoke with Maxime, heard my other options, understood where the idols were going to be, voted for Fred. It was a dumb move and the biggest weakness to my game in my opinion. But Fred never made me feel like it was weakening me or our relationship. While I felt like there was a hinderance, he really did a great job making me comfortable and I think that's a huge credit to his game.
Cormac: Cormac and I didn't talk too much although when we did, it was nothing but respect. One interaction we talked about creative writing, an oragami crane piece how to, and I'm really anxious to read it. He also would call me Little D, which reminded me of Gossip Girl! Cormac was incredibly perceptive and even though he was hard to talk to, he really proved to be observant and socially aware, he saw his best options and he was a stand up guy and apologized after he voted for me and recognized we should work together.
Lily: Wine and how she was super encouraging cause I recently bought a winemaking book and she was going out to drink some wine later that weekend! Also when she was making banana muffins in the beginning of the game, they looked awesome. I'm getting so hungry now. I think Lily was super charming and sweet, she was a tough competitor and sometimes people try and match that with niceness and a huge amount of strategy that it comes off as fake... I don't think it was fake with Lily, she was a tough competitor and smart. I don't think anyone underestimated her and I don't think anyone disrespected her.
Amos: I mentioned it before, we talked about Jam, Preserves, Jelly, what types we liked, I believe his was strawberry, I prefer Raspberry but truthfully I just haven't had grape and strawberry in awhile. I also remember after I voted him I approached him apologizing and we kind of just acknowledged that like "Its cool" What I liked about Amos' gameplay was that his game seemingly kind of blew up early, I was gunning for him so hard for SO long that I felt like there wasn't anyway around it from happening, but he was always able to keep up his attitude and we were able to make amends and I think thats a credit to who he is. I also thought the Ravenclaw idol was a bad ass play.
Maxime: Maxime and I began flirting from the get go, just for fun. I remember when we first swapped I talked to her and apologized for voting out her boyfriend even though I'm sure he was a disappointment in the bedroom, and she said that she actually preferred shorter man ;-) and then thats when our Showmance began. We also watched Titanic 2 with Mirabella and she thought that it was funny how awful I thought it was and we said we'd watch more bad movies but we haven't. </3 I respected her game, she saw a common ground just like I did with a final 8 with you(angelina)/her added to the actual final 6 it seemed to me, she took initiative and categorized us but it was pulling the trigger too early, something I recommended, and she was sort of a martyr in a sense. She also spoke up to me about how I did not seem like I talked to her enough which I addressed in another answer, I was caught off guard because I liked her a lot. She was really blunt, take it or leave it and I can respect that.
Gilderoy: I recently got a new job and was very intimidated by all the new things I was learning, orientation was 2 and a half weeks and I felt like I was on information overload, I remember Lockhart being very sincere and sweet, which was rare at the time, and he just expressed that learning new things are always scary and intimidating and sometimes when you feel like you're not ready- you are, and also expressed sometimes it just takes awhile to get used to and thats okay! I loved how BOLD Lockhart was, he played more daring than anyone and more fearless than anyone and it bit him in the butt but I loved it.
Newt: I've mentioned it a few times for Newt too but he and I told each other on one of our first interactions that his first choice was Newt and second choice was Draco and mine was the exact opposite. I really liked Fantastic Beasts and think of Newt all the time, I say, "worrying is suffering twice" in this game and throughout my life since! What I like about Newt is that he was a floater, his loyalties weren't set in stone but they were made for him. I think he was a loyal guy though, he was almost a martyr in that sense. I thought he'd be loyal to me too and had the privilege to work with him for those two rounds and wish those votes for Lockhart were votes for Amos to make the first round a tie.
I hope this helps with your decision making, if theres anything else I can do for you, I'd be happy to do so! Thanks Angelina!
