Pomfrey, Hagrid, Rita: You all went over the 10 minute mark. Was there any discussion or thought about waiting by the car or did you all think you could beat 10mins? Use this as a chance to defend yourselves. |
It's definitely a tough pill to swallow. It wasn't a particularly difficult puzzle, I just choked under pressure so I'll take responsibility for that. I definitely considered waiting by the car because even though I think I'm decent in cryptos (or so I thought), unlike with the puzzles where you knew the number of pieces, I didn't know what I was getting. But I decided to take the risk. I think we lost by ~11 minutes? So even if us three had waited by the car, it probably wouldn't have made a difference. Snape and Newt just snatched us bald. |
