When I was in the 2nd grade, my teacher taught the class a song reciting all of the presidents of the United States in order. It was to the tune of Yankee Doodle and at the time I thought it was pretty dumb but sucked it up. Why should I be memorizing the names of all these old men? Yankee Doodle dandy is a perfectly good song without having to change the lyrics. We went up in front of the school and performed the song and I still of course crushed it, memorizing all of the names and belting them out with my innocent and naively terrible 2nd grade voice (that I wish I could say has improved by today but sadly cannot!). It's funny because to this day I still remember the song and can therefore tell you the names of every US president in the order that they served. Since then I've become more interested in history and am even maybe interested in being a history teacher once I figure out college and everything.

So why is any of that relevant. Well it took me a decade but I finally understand why the presidents are so important.

So yeah! Because of that and the day off we were given the other day I figured I could afford to focus on some outside game work. I've been struggling but that's a story for another day!

Didn't help that we also lost the challenge and I came in last place for sports. I'm not going to pretend I'm an expert sportster, but I felt like I was just outclassed from the get-go. I could have finished everything faster but stupid google lied to me about Germany winning more medals than the US so I had to go back and fix that. I supposedly got another one wrong which I never bothered to ask about because I would have lost regardless so I didn't think it was worth fussing about. All I know is that it means it's time to go to tribal again and hope that I'll be safe!



Thankfully, even though I haven't been amazing the last few says activity wise, Dudders is pretty awful at conversating. I can't manage to hold a conversation with him and neither can anyone else so almost immediately after the challenge results were posted I told Mira that I would prefer if we could vote him out. She agreed and even said she wants to work with Draco, Maxime, and I for the long term so that was exciting to learn! I told Draco about that pretty much right after she told me. I haven't told them how close I feel to the other because I feel like that shows my cards a bit too easily. They're both smart though so I doubt they are completely in the dark.

I don't feel amazing about Maxime because we still haven't talked a lot either, but I feel like barring another loss I should be fine with her. We still get along well enough but I just think that after Dudley goes I may be the person she feels least close to, and it'd be called for because like I said I have been busy and I haven't been able to talk to her a lot. I think I may still be okay if we lose again and don't swap though because I feel pretty confident in my relationships with Draco and Mira. I think they would stick to me over Maxime and as long as that's the case then I should be fine and I'm just ready for the ride.

Speaking of Mira, her and I exchanged our Hufflepuff Idol guesses to try and see if we can find it faster. When I get a chance I'll try and put all of our guesses together and try and find what combos are possible, but after being late to the party with the other idols I don't feel amazing about my chances with this one. Missed out on the Ravenclaw one, on the secret advantage posts, and any sort of chance at slytherin idol ingredients. Those things must be hid well or I just have the worst luck ever in searching for them.

I think that's it for now because everything is pretty straight forward at the moment. I feel like I'll be okay if we lose again like I said above but definitely going to try my best to win this next challenge in the case that we don't swap. I also want to add that I was thrilled to see Rita leave last round instead of Cormac or Lily because I actually want to work with those two and had no interest at all in working with Rita. I haven't baked since I talked to Lily so I'm so ready to get back to that.

This was after I compared Mira and my results for this idol. The red are the numbers I'm pretty sure are definitely wrong and everything else is pretty self explanatory! I think if we want a real chance at this idol we are going to need to ask at least one more person to compare our results too, maybe two if we get Draco and Maxime. I would ask Draco myself and just not say anything about Mira giving me her guesses but that feels kinda scummy.
