You will control the Basilisk to anonymously petrify one player who attends Tribal Council for THIS round.
The entire losing tribe will be informed with 2 HOURS left until the voting deadline that the player you chose has been petrified. The player you choose to petrify will not be able to vote for the round but they ARE eligible to be voted for.
Failure to select someone will result in punishment.

OMG I am the heir of Slytherin this round! So McGonagall has been missing on challenges and not popping in much at all so she will be petrified ☹ Sorry McGonagall! Angelina knows I am the heir too <3 I love her! I told her to post the penguin, and I would let her know what I got too. Oh, and she told me that she picked me first for tribes!! I was sooo flattered!
I really like Cormac!! He was like I think you and Newt would feel better with Angelina for the swap and made it happen – which was picking captains!! Did not see that coming! I did think we might be splitting into two tribes of 7 but didn’t make the connection that we were picking captains! I’m actually surprised Angelina didn’t pick Newt or Mirabella! She picked all the old ladies lol! Oh, and I’m so excited for Fred to be on the team! I hope we crush the next challenge so we don’t have to go back to tribal.
I felt like Newt kind of shut down on me ☹ Maybe he’s just really busy with work and everything, but I felt like he was trying to distance himself from me. But damn, he's good at finding thing! I knew that snitch was no match for Newt! So I was feeling a little bummed going into this round, but it is quickly turning around with the new tribe!
I really feel the connection with Snape, even though we are on different tribes. I got to talk to him for a few minutes before we got the new tribes, and he was glad I was safe. I felt bad about using the advantage, but I would not be here without it. Hopefully we will get to work together soon!
And still love Mirabella! I think I have 3 numbers locked in right for the Hufflepuff room thanks to Mirabella!

I’m so so sorry Minerva! I thought you were totally gone and for morale, it had to be you with missing two challenges and sitting out in the car in the second challenge. For those reasons, Minerva, we have to chop you.
Seriously though, I feel awful doing that to you after the week you had! I hope you know it was nothing personal! I loved talking to you, and I wish you all the best!
And I totally fucked up the challenge. One of our code words was borscht, and when the other team mentioned borscht, I totally went all guns ablazing and messaged Prof Binns that I preferred Popeyes ☹ I did the exact opposite Angelina told me to do - she was like just play it cool to start out messages. I should have just stayed ghosted the whole challenge. I’m so not cool, and I don’t lie or deceive well. And I woke up at 5:00 to get on the board and watch for people to log on to see if I could find a few people that way, and I go blow mine and Maxime's code words. BUT I did get 10/12 and posted before Amos so I think I recovered from my dumb mistake!
And Newt played Mirabella's character like nobody’s business!! Not to self: Newt is VERY VERY VERY good! He was going around to everyone asking people if they preferred Popeyes which was amusing after the challenge was over! During the challenge, I thought he would uncover Fred or someone, but it didn't work. Snape was very Snape in the ghost challenge! I told him the password was bananas, and he promptly responded with "I don't like bananas." It's funny that he got Fat Friar because I told him in one of our first challenges that black was very slimming on him, and he was like are you calling me fat???? I thought we were totally done lol! Snape and Lily forever!!
I have been talking to my Fred a lot, and he would like to work together! Angelina and I are really close! I like Maxime, but she’s not the best at challenges. I need to talk more to Pomfrey and Cormac too. But if we lose the next challenge, depending on what happens, I definitely want to be working with Fred and Angelina.

So I am heartbroken Snape is gone! I have joined a revengers group to avenge Snape's death, but I do not think this will do me well in this game. I can't wait to get rid of Ron, so if they're gunning for him, I'm all in on that plan! I don't mind voting out Draco either, I haven't talked to him much at all. I like Lockhart and Amos, and Angelina is awesome! BUT I definitely see me on the outs in that group. And I will not go against Newt. But I'm not sure he is as close to me anymore. I'm hoping he wins immunity these next few rounds so the revengers don't target him. I'm not sure this merge at this point is super great for me, but we shall see how things play out!
ROUND 8
So I did exactly what I said I would not do ☹ I feel awful about voting for Newt, but I felt so much distance from him. Our Lily-Newt duo died hard. I really thought I would never vote for him, but circumstances being what they are, I wanted to stay in. I never told anyone he was the heir all those rounds, and I kept all his secrets. I heard he gave some flies to Mirabella which makes me think he was going to go to the finals with her if he could. I feel like a jilted ex-girlfriend.
I take back what I said about Ron! Even though he voted for me AGAIN (and he used the SAME parchment), I actually really like him. He has 3 cats so he’s not as evil as I thought him to be.
One of the targets on Snape’s kill list is Fred who I absolutely love! I don’t know if when that time comes if I can vote with them. I’m not so sure it’s as much Snape’s list as it is Lockhart’s list.
Angelina is a doll! I love her! She shares a lot of information which makes me a little nervous, but maybe she’s just sharing with me? She did say she didn’t tell anyone about me being the heir the one round, and I totally believe she’s got my back on that. I did tell Fred that I petrified Minerva that round, and I felt like such an idiot after because he was ON my tribe at that point! Talk about awkward… But I answered his questions about the room of requirement that Snape shared with me, and told him that’s how I got the double vote.
OOOHH and that invisibility cloak is pretty cool!! Not feeling totally targeted right now, so I think I’ll hold onto it. But if Angelina needs it, I would give it to her. She doesn’t seem to be in any danger right now either.
This upcoming challenge should be interesting!
