1. Tell us about yourself! What's your name? Where are you from? What's your biggest fear? Compare yourself to someone (fiction or real!) that you identify with.

My name is Shawn and I've been all over but we moved back to the desert a few years ago before I started high school. I'm going to be graduating this year thank god but also I have no idea where I want to go or want to do which segues nicely into greatest fear! I still have like a few months to figure it out but I really want to move back to the east coast if my parents will let me and I'm just really worried that I'm going to run out of time and just end up staying somewhere local like UNLV. Also I've had nightmares about being buried alive ever since watching all the grave-digger episodes of Bones with my family a few years ago.

My friends swear that I look like Michael J Fox but I don't really see it? If we're talking about Harry Potter I actually really see myself in Ron? He seems to get the shit end of the stick a lot of the time having so many siblings and having to fight for attention with being best friends with the like, "Hero of the World." But he manages to keep going and embraces his role! He even gets the girl out of it after being oblivious for like, 4 years or something so I keep telling myself the same thing can happen to me :P

2. What's your strategy going to be like? What do you think might be your downfall? If you've played ORGs in the past, what was a strategy that's worked well and gotten you far?

I'm going into this with the idea of just trying to talk to everyone! I hate how on survivor they make a big deal about big moves and cutting people left and right. Maybe if I have to I will (how hard can it be these are just internet people) but I 'd rather be a Michelle than an Aubrey. I'm going to go into every challenge giving it my all and then when I inevitably lose it for my tribe I will just need to flash my pearly whites and hope that saves me :D

3. Who's your favorite survivor? What's your favorite season? What is your favorite moment in Survivor history? Who's your favorite HP character and why?

I loved going back to watch Amazon! Watching Rob Cesternino walk through most of the merge was so great because I think he did it in the perfect way. Maybe in confessionals he would be snarky and talk badly about people, but in the game I think he was pretty well respected for the most part and was a challenge away from winning. Jenna still totally deserved her win don't get me wrong, she is probably the only survivor player who used the strategy of being sick to save herself versus her friend when she was clearly the bigger physical threat, but seeing a steamroll that wasn't a boring pagonging was fun to watch.

Favorite Harry Potter character is a tough one! It's been a while since I've read the books/watched the movies which is why I'm playing someone pretty mainstream. All my top picks where either Sirius Black or a Weasley (or Tonks but I just like her hair). I do really like Ron though because of how I said that I relate to him a lot. I was always the friend who would play Luigi or be player 2 when playing games so I like the support role.

4. Why will you be the Sole Survivor of Enchanted? Why should we root for you?

Trick question! I think you should root for me because I won't win! I have no idea what I'm doing and I think it would be way funnier watching someone like that than someone who knows exactly what they're doing and it being boring. I want to sorta fuck around and see what sticks while trying to stay out of trouble. If I manage that then I think I'm going to be okay for a while and you'll have even more time to root for me :)

5. If you could have any super power what would it be and why?

I have a bit of a rant to go on about this!!!

What is the worst thing in the world? War? Hunger? Ben bombs? No, it's none of those things.

It's slow people.

I just cannot stand walking in a hallway or a crowded place and people get in the way!!!! Everyone seems so slow and it truly boggles my mind how we aren't descended form turtles or something (well maybe we are but I didn't do well in freshman year bio). I would want to be able to go super fast and phase through people and things so that the worst thing in the world can be defeated. I feel like it's a worthy cause!

6. What are your very first impressions of your fellow cast members and their rep choices?

I guess I'll have to write about this later when everyone checks in? I'm not sure why there is a fish on the cast but I'm sure I'll get the story behind that one day.

7. What do you think you will face in Enchanted? Any predictions for twists?

Don't give us a dumb required f4 tiebreaker twist or removing a jury member and we can stay friends :) No idea otherwise! I was hoping that applying to this there would be some weird stuff with spells or something but I didn't really put in the thought to figure what that would even mean. Maybe have an extra vote like on the show?

8. How do you feel about the rep choice you were given? Why did you choose them?

I like Fred! I didn't want to pick someone everyone knows a ton about because it's been so long since I've caught up with the series and I feel like he's the perfect person for that. I love the Weasleys and I didn't want to pick someone like Harry Potter or Malfoy or someone who would get any sort of reaction. Now I get to do what I want and be me instead of having to try and conform into someone else. Although I do love his snark so I'll probably try being more about that.

I found the clue to that ravenclaw idol too but not sure where to go from that quote. I know that Luna is the one who answers it so I tried going through her confessional but I couldn't find anything. She did post a quote in order to get her Ravenclaw idol so maybe I need to do the same here?

It also has nothing to do with getting into the Ravenclaw common room in the first season because I just re-found the password in Luna's confessional and got in but I couldn't see anything.

This is fun though! I've always loved when people not named Ben are hunting for idols on the show. I'm not sure who would go for the Gryfindor one because isn't someone knowing that you have an idol pretty scary???

Everyone here is so nice! Lily literally just sent me her recipe for banana bread when I said I was trying to think of something to make tonight and I think I may actually do it because it sounds so good.

I told Gilderoy about the advantage link because I feel like we've been hitting it off well so that means I should probably tell him I didn't get anything from the post. I'll talk about him and everyone else who I've talked to so far when I get back from Walmart to pick up some banana bread related groceries :)

I've come to the conclusion that the Ravenclaw idol was probably found by not me!

I realized that Luna didn't go into the common room to find the idol, she got it from unscrambling a phrase and posting it in her confessional. Why would there be two Raven claw idols? I think that the one that's in the common room now is from this season and someone got there before me. That's what happens when I don't set an alarm to wake up! Now two idols are going to be gone by 9EST and I'm scared because I don't want to be idoled out! Ah!!!!!!!!!
