There were a few people who seemed weirded out by the video chatting concept, which is what happens when you have so many new people I guess. Bryce texted me after their call ended and he was just saying how weird that was, but honestly he seemed to be doing fine. He's just a naturally charming person and I can see him getting along with almost everyone on that tribe. I'm very curious to see confessionals from that group on first impressions.

Shoot, I missed the pre-season thread, so if players care to read more about what people think of them off first impressions (as let's be honest, we all do) enjoy, otherwise I dont have too much to add yet (as I haven't gone through all the confessionals) but I will agree with the popular opinion after snooping through a bit of the night one calls that NAOMI is a definite favorite on my end. I'm just very drawn to her and curious about her and I imagine many of her tribe mates will feel the same way.

anders- i'm actually so psyched to see anders, he was an entertaining trainwreck his first time around but honestly i have a lot of faith that after reviewing his tribemates opinions and where he went wrong last season he will have a different approach, I'm rooting for him!

lexi- I didn't get too much of an opinion based off her interview, I guess I want to hold out and see what she's like outside of her relationship. She seems sweet though and I'm looking forward to seeing what she does.

serena- serena didn't make a huggee impression on me during her season of endure but when she played conquest after that I fell in love, I just think she's so rootable and likable and she's had sort of bad luck about what side of things she ends up on, but I think that could partly be an indicator she needs to branch out a bit more. I think she needs to be a bit more on her toes and not assume that her likability and early relationships will keep her in the loop forever, and she could really go far.

alex- ahhh I love alex, and I'm excited to watch him play aGAIN. I think this tribe is good for him, I bet a lot of them will be drawn to him because he's a vet and super funny and easy to talk to. He just needs to not do too much as it will get around quickly on a small tribe, maybe let people come to him, as I know they will. kill it buddy!

ceejae- ahhh she's adorable wowwww and very entertaining. I could see her either rubbing people the wrong way and not lasting super long, or I could see her completely playing them all and winning this thing (very helpful I know) its just that she's new to orgs and I don't know if she'll know exactly what she needs to do to win.

jenn- I only briefly got to speak to jenn (though I did play with her in mimiaire and it was hillarious) but i'm a fan. she's played quite a few games recently I believe so I just hope she doesn't come in overconfident from a recent win, switches her tactics up and doesn't get in trouble for her experience.

naomi- i'm acually so curious and excited for her wow!! I could absolutely see her being a dark horse and taking this game home. She's an adorable mix of quirky and comfortable.

kait- I think kait is going to have trouble right away on a small tribe, in the mix of some larger personalities it could be hard for her to stand out, but if she is able to snake by, through challenge wins etc. she's the type of player you reallyyyy watch out for once merge time comes around.

jack- okay he reminds me sooooo much of quintin if anyone knows who that is in that he wants to play the villain and sort of put on this tough side but actually seems to be a major softie. I honestly don't see him doing very well, I assume he'll try too hard or get too stir crazy, but I think he'll be entertaining while he lasts.

jess- I watched her win power and honestly as much as I liked her as a player then, I felt that she really benefited by working with someone who was willing to throw their game away, and although this is partially in credit to her, I don't know if she'll come across that again, so I'm kind of excited to see her outside of a dominating partnership. She's a really sweet and likable person, and very smart, so I have faith!

aaron- i've been aware of aaron playing a lot of games, but the only time I've been able to view him directly was when I hosted him in this lmao game of the MOLE (in which he was the mole) and I thought he did just suchhhh an amazing job (he won the game) and I can imagine that charm and power to manipulate and stay cool and calm under pressure would translate well into a survivor game. I just know he might have problems with his reputation, and with this being a cast of players relatively new to the Skype format, it could be intimidating. I hope that doesn't end up being his downfall though, because theres not much he can do about it.

those are all the videos I was able to get around to, but I'm pumped to see which of the other players will stand out (I saw Abby seemed to be making an impression on the viewers, so I'm excited to hear from her). love that you guys were able to get an even gendered cast for this season!!!

Very curious to figure out the Aaron/Jess/Devon dynamic. Jess and Aaron are on good terms, Devon and Jess are already planning on meeting up, but Devon is VERY wary of Aaron and seems to want to target him asap if he can. That could be messy. I hope Amberly shows up.

I was talking with one Dan Kilby yesterday about the MS people and we honestly think Jess and Matt might not realize who Naomi is on first glance. We all have usernames and stuff there and neither of them are super close to her on-site, so if she doesn't come out and reveal she's from MS straightaway...thing is now that she's close to one Alex Rico that might be a little different, because he's going to recognize Jess and they'll put it together. Of course, Naomi will definitely recognize Jess and Matt I think, so there could be some interesting play there. Glad to see her doing so well!
