Danny gets rid of one of the people who openly hated him but just gained another one with Sarena now openly being against him. I hope Chris wins immunity
Bryce is obviously a good player and yadda yadda yadda, but I've been a little disappointed with him entertainment-wise just because he seems so damn risk averse and is always settling for the safe route or easy vote. Or worse, he'll tease a big move at the start of the round, and back down from it later. I like Bryce but I am #ready for him to do something. I worry he's gonna just keep making the safe vote and never actually end up in power and be booted.
Matthew is one of my favourite characters in the game at this point. Ugh I loved him talking last Tribal Council about how (paraphrasing) the idol takes a certain level of intelligence to obtain so he can rule out a number of the people in the cast re: possessing it; and how if he had known about the idol clue he would have obviously found it before everyone else [because he's the best and smartest]. Soundbite king.
I don't think Matthew has really been instrumental to a vote yet, but he's a fun castmember to have and a great foil to Abby. His head over heels love for Bryce is a hoot to watch too, but I kind of hope Bryce blindsides Matthew at some point just because it'll probably be really funny to watch.
Reading through the comments for this round now, I've only just realised that no one has said a word about Danny's amazing move last round. Even though he's not trusted by a lot of the people left in the game, I still feel like we don't give Danny enough credit at all.
I think Danny has a super creative strategic mind for a game like this, and it's impressive that he could look beyond the simple "We have 4, they have 5 -- we need to flip somebody!" and come up with an even more abstract plan to get the numbers. I don't know if a lot of people would have been able to brainstorm a plan like that, let alone actually get it to work.
Not to mention, he was one vote away from going home, so like, if he fucked this plan up there was no going back. Just super impressive all 'round, definitely the best play of the game and I'm so sad that nobody bloody added us to calls last round and I didn't get to see it unfold.
Between these fun strategic plays, and being the most entertaining non-Abby person in the cast by far, Danny is an A++ cast member and I'm so glad he was cast. If the next time he plays a game, he can just make sure not to tell as many unnecessary small lies, doesn't place too much stock in Final 2 deals (like he's doing with Jessaca & Lexi atm) he'd be a pretty huge force in whatever season he's in.
I still am not that big of a fan of Danny? idk I mean I get that he saved himself, but he also was a big part of why he was being targeted. I don't think one move, really like is "omg he's so amazing"
Yeah I think it's creative -- it's interesting to think and be like, "would I have anywhere near the mental creativity to formulate that?" -- but it's the result of things that have put him in that place, and though it saved him it still leaves him tenuous from here on out. Like he had to very obviously trick Naomi to make it work, and yet he still wants to use Naomi to get further in the game.
Entertaining move, but I don't know if it was good.
i went to uh stonehenge and they literally sell baseball caps that say "ROCKS!". the urge to buy three of them and then post a picture on the internet was pretty strong lol.
