I’m gonna make a confessional tomorrow. But my plans are to get close to Chris and Bryce because I don’t want to be seen as Danny pawn. But Danny is my shield no one is worried about me while Danny is around
I don't think Lexi needs to be a flashy player to be a good player, I think she's done well at surviving. That being said, she needs to really begin upping her social game and slowly building her resume more. I think she could have a solid chance if she does that, but not talking to people for days isnt going to do her favors.
I want to state how much of an error I think Sarena made this round.
I genuinely had her as my winner pick for the post-anders boots because she was SO well insulated. She was in a sort of blind-spot of jess and that side and would have been able to cause some serious damage come 6/5/4 that really could have ended up with her winning.
For some reason she has completely flipped back to the people who openly were trying to get rid of her on the swap tribe, the merge and have significantly less influence. The decision is genuinely absurd because it really did seem like she had SERIOUS win equity just 24 hours ago.
On the flip side, Chris is proving why he's such a dangerous player. I don't think he can win unless things REALLY break his way in an unpredictable way...
That said, he is effectively dragging people under water in front of him and people don't see it. Alex left without the aid of Chris in the vote, but the main reason Alex's name was out there was Chris. Chris is drowning and he knows it, and he is completely able and willing to grab onto the people he's worked with's heads and drag them under water to help him float a little bit longer. At this point, working with Chris seems to be a curse. He is Aubry-esque in that way - everyone he gets close to dies almost immediately after. I LOVE this UTR-momentum vampire gameplay he's pulling off.
I think Sarena and Naomi are the next victims of this, tbh. Him, Jess and Bryce are the only players who seem capable of making people play against their own best interest, and its fascinating to see Chris literally do that in a "get them voted out by flipping out for no reason" approach.
I really want to reiterate that I think Bryce is a phenomenal player to watch, he constantly has a really good grasp on the dynamics and strategies and moves being made - his most recent confessional outlining why Naomi going along with Danny's plan was so dumb shows how smart he is. He also has shifted the focus off of himself several times and made really good connections socially.

But also I disagree re: Sarena's flip being terrible. One of Jessaca's shields still went, she should have built up trust with Bryce, Chris & Naomi by flipping to them, I assume. Matthew left her out of a plan but was quick to come back to her & Bryce and tried to get back on the same page. And Lexi is looking to flip this round anyway so I don't think a bridge is burned there.
Even though she didn't wind up on the right side of the votes, I think she still picked the right side. She's lost Danny & Jess' trust probably, but I suspect they won't be in the game for much longer anyway.
This merge is so flippy that I honestly don't think it's a huge deal for Sarena. Someone else is going to flip in probably 5 minutes time and take the heat right off of her. Plus I bet she'd 100% get Alejandro's jury vote at the end for not voting him out.
Danny is apparently pushing for a Sarena vote, and hoping that Naomi, Chris, Lexi & Jessaca will be on board. Chris & Naomi don't want to vote out Sarena are are wanting a Clotho or Matthew boot this round.

I think part of why she flipped back to them is because she felt left out by Jess and the others on this last vote since they hadn't told her and so maybe that made her feel less valued thus causing her to flip back to the others who at least openly went against her rather than behind her back? not sure just a thought, it's easier to dodge a target in front of you rather than behind, because at least in front you can see it coming?
Danny and Chris call, both discuss their ties with Lexi and Naomi respectively. Chris says he can't take Naomi to the end, Danny says he couldn't take Lexi to the end bc she's been to almost every tribal council in the game. Danny says he sees Matt and Jess as close but also thinks that if someone like Naomi were to leave, Matt would go back to Bryce/Sarena and try and rope in Chris for majority. Danny sees Jess and Bryce as players that if they get to the end, they win.
Chris doesn't want to vote Bryce bc he doesn't want to be a dick right after the Alex vote. Danny wants to win the challenge. Danny wants Sarena out. Danny says he can't take Matt to the end bc he's built good relationships and has been on the right side of the vote all the time.
I'm interested to see how much of their convo is legit and how much is lies.
