I think Jayden is right on the nose with this too. Could this 5 person Atropos/Clotho group throw a challenge and take out an OG Lachesis? Easily. Is it necessary? I don't think so.
I really feel that OG Lachesis peeps, especially the ones who are ggreat at challenges, have early merge boot written all over them--Matt, Bryce...I'd almost want them at the merge to be huge targets/shields.
That said, I totally understand Alex's perspective on this. But I just think he's perhaps just making too much of a fuss to his alliance. If there's overwhelming support to throw the challenge, well, then you kind of just need to go with it, I believe anyway. There's definite times to push to get your way; but then there's other times when you have to be moldable to your alliance's plans.

I don't blame Alex and Jessaca for not wanting to throw. I wouldn't want to waste my immunity either. When it comes down to it you have to be selfish sometimes whether in action or strategy in order to succeed in Survivor so I would be the same way if I were in their shoes.
WITH THAT SAID...I am hoping they end up throwing. Those 4 original Lachesis on the new Lachesis tribe have had it too fucking easy this game, like hello Koror. I would love to see them have to sweat a bit and not coast to jury. Not only that but I'm so rooting for Lexi. I get she is not like this flashy loud player, but I love that Jenn gave her immunity last round and I don't want her to be an easy vote off this round. Plus I also really love Naomi, Jack, and Kait so that whole group needs to survive.

However when they do go to tribal, even if it's not until merge they wouldn't be in danger of getting voted out so their immunities probably wouldn't benefit them there either.

What type of alliance name is Passion, Friction, Fluid. I enjoy Anders though he seems to make me laugh whenever I watch his confessionals. He is thinking forward and not to just this round which I think will get him far unless he gets too far ahead and doesn't see what is right in front of him. There is so many small divides in this Lachesis tribe, I feel like it would be so hard to map out who all is connected to who

I gotta say, Bryce never adds production to any calls so he's probably the person I've seen interact with other players the least, but man is he doing a good job at reeling people in. From what I gather, he just knows the right things to say to people.
Anders went from wanting him out the most last round and dreading having a call with him, to now wanting a five person alliance with him and Abby. Chris also doesn't want him out either after connecting with him. This is all while everyone realizes they need an original Lachesis out and Chris even saying Bryce seems like the kingpin. I think Bryce is the type of player that can really use his charm to get himself out of sticky situations and it seems like he's doing that now. He wisely told Anders that he'd drop Matt and Sarena and would rather work with Abby, who I guess he knows Anders has gotten along with.

Chris is sitting really well I think, everyone seems to be going to him, or like with the challenge he said everyone was running to him about being annoyed. I can defiantly see Chris making the end. Chris putting together the alliance of Bryce, Sarena and Matt, and realizing that Bryce is the center point of that tribe. Also love plan sabotage Danny because he probably won't see it coming.
My current list of what I think might be the order (next boot to end): Matt Lexi Danny Sarena Alex Kait Anders Bryce Abby Jess Jack Naomi Chris
I think Lachesis will end up throwing the challenge and Matt will go then Lexi will go from Meleager just based on the dynamics and I don't think Lachesis would throw two comps. I think Danny will be first merge boot because he is rubbing people the wrong way and with the shield/deflector of Matt out he will go. Sarena hasn't came on as strong with people and some have thrown her name out with Matt's and I think with Matt out Bryce will work closer with the girls. I feel like Alex and Anders will get annoyed with each other and be pushing and one will go home. I think Kait will go before Abby due to the fact of being Meleager and not having as many connections on the tribe. Then I think the other between Anders and Alex will leave because the get on others nerves with how they think through the game. I put Bryce in the middle because I feel like people will catch on and they seem to be stronger with Abby than him, I could also see this being a tie where Bryce Abby and Jess vote together against the other 3, if it goes to rocks or something like that this could be off. Jess will go because Jack will be closer to Naomi who in turn is close with Chris and Jack will be cut just too short. I feel like Jack will have a lot of control come merge and cause some of the flipping back and forth between which side is leaving.

Broken record at this point, but Chris' latest confessional really highlights how phenomenal of a player he is. Like he had one call with Bryce and deduced that the Devil's Triangle alliance existed, and his reads are so good that you'd think he's been listening to other people's confessionals.

Last night Danny says in the tribe chat that if its going to be 30-40 minutes to do the challenge and they needed someone that he can play. Today he said he'll be around but can't play
Bryce messages me and says "how did we go from him being able to play to him not being able to play in a short amount of time?"
Conveniently, that is the timeframe that the "orange crush" alliance went from wanting to throw it to deciding that they weren't going to. Nice work Danny

JESUS CHRIST yeah, if you want to get a bang on update of the Lachesis dynamics, just read Chris' little write-ups. Furthermore, Bryce just mentioned that Chris is his #1 ally at this point.
People who consider Chris to be their #1:
1. Alejandro
2. Jenn
3. Anders
4. Naomi
5. Bryce
(The rest of the cast coming soon probably)
Please write a How To Win Friends & Influence People book Chris because I WILL BUY IT.

Oh! And people have fiiiiinally clocked on to the idol clues this game. Anders made a comment about all the "Rules" being italicised in the Challenge thread, and Chris went and pointed the Passion, Friction & Fluids alliance in the right direction. Kudos to Chris for finding it but I would have kept that shit secret, because there's a decent chance nobody else would've found it. Although I wonder if he's just not able to be active atm and wanted to make sure an ally found it.
Either way Alejandro is on a mad dash for the idol right now. Matthew has kind of noticed but isn't going about it in the right direction at all.
Meleager has not noticed the clues, hahah.

The juxtaposition of Abby talking about how much she really was so pleasantly surprised by Jessaca and how she thinks she's great and is so glad to have met her... and then Jessaca's scathing review of Abby is hard to watch.
Also an interesting development is that Jessaca really likes Matt and doesn't want him to go and is making it her mission to make sure he doesn't leave if they go to Tribal Council.

Curious what would happen if Lachesis does actually lose. Jess REALLY doesn't want to vote out Matt and it seems like she wouldn't back down from that. I wonder how they'd decide on who to vote. There isn't someone from OG Lachesis that they'd all be happy with voting. Its interesting to watch with all of them having their own agendas

When Alex threw in Power Struggle 3, he literally got blindsided that round. he would be dumb to throw, and I hope he doesn't (SORRY I'M CATCHING UP)

I am behind with today's stuff so probably will get a few posts, but it's interesting to see Jess's perspective on the whole throwing and now I understand more of why she didn't want to throw, before I thought it was a lot to do with the immunity but its more so she is worried about Matt and doesn't want him to leave. I think this whole throwing thing has split Danny and Jess apart some. And then I think Alex has also been a wedge that has come between Jess and Danny, Jess likes Alex and feels like they work well together but Alex and Danny just go at each other. Also I'm not really sure Danny can play a "floater" game he always seems to go too hard or get too many ideas in his head that he wants to do. Oh and I'm surprised Danny put Abby over Lexi in who he is closest to. I think Alex and Danny's personalities are going to be ultimately what drives orange crush apart, I think Alex has learned to work with Anders but Danny in his mind is a step up from Anders and he isn't going to deal with it, especially since he figured out the whole lying thing
