returnees

Anders - WHEW i think i wrote something about Anders preseason during season 6 and I couldn't have been MORE WRONG about him! he went into that game guns fucking blazing and kinda just attempted to take over the tribe, rubbing a lot of people the wrong way in the process. i think that he will have (hopefully) learned from his mistakes in season 6 and will come in with a more chilled out, laid back approach to the game. it will be very interesting to see how he approaches being the sole returnee on his tribe and if that sends him into a frenzy

lexi - i know absolutely nothing about Lexi and she's one of the few people who has been a consistent ~figure~ in this community for years that i have had zero interaction with, and i damn sure do not have the attention span to watch an interview, but i think that if she gets a more calm tribe she could have big potential. i'm going to assume she will be an under the radar player (even though i'm basing that guess on absolutely nothing!)

sarena - i am SARENA'S #1 FAN IN THE WORLD!! i met Sarena in her second game (but let's call it her first, because Estate is a trash fire and doesn't count) and we hit it off almost immediately. there is something electrifying about her personality and in a sense she forces you to like her without you even realizing it. she had some pretty unfortunate circumstances with the in the dark twist, but i think that she has had some time to reflect on it and i see her making it deep into this game.

Atropos

alex rico - alex rico is someone that i've known for a very long time in this community and he is definitely a very polarizing player. we were on opposite sides waaaaaaaaay back in CYS20 and he was pretty vocal about how he felt about shit, and it doesn't seem like that has changed much in the past couple of years. he tends to be an alpha male figure in games and so i somewhat expect to see a Kurtis/Anders sort of relationship/rivalry between Rico and Anders this season. if he can hit it off with the right people he will thrive. i know in the past he has been drawn to newbie girls (see: Power Struggle season whatever with Jessaca) and Ceejae seems to match his energy so they might click p fast.

ceejae - ceejae saying within the first minute of her interview that she's a radio/TV major made absolute perfect sense to me because homegirl is V E R Y loud! but that's not necessarily a bad thing - I think that the type of personality she has is the type that people are drawn to in these games. she is a fresh-faced newbie girl who seems like she'd be able to hold a conversation so i can see her being a hot commodity on this tribe. when i saw her get revealed for Sequester I realized I'd seen her around the disgusting Instagram ORG community (which somehow exists!) and so she's got experience with online stuff. I see her THRIVING!

chris - i met Chris a million years ago on Tengaged.com when he was going by the name Quackerz and we became friends pretty quick. we were never the best of friends but he was always a person who existed, but then he ghosted for a bit and randomly reappeared into my brain in the Sequester mini I played. in that game he struck me as a very likeable, quiet player who can do decently well in competitions, but I think he might end up being in over his head in this format. I don't think he will suffer the same fate that a lot of Tengaged -> Skype people have because he seems too chill for that, but I think that he will underestimate the social connection required and could go out early.

jenn - I'm ngl, I can't remember if Jenn and I are on good terms or not....???? I met her in XTC as well and we started out really great but kinda slowly became bitter ass enemies. as much as people in ORGs say "you either love me or hate me" I think that Jenn Secular is the epitome of that phrase. regardless of anyone's personal feelings about her, she is a force to be reckoned with in games and I think her track record kinda speaks for itself. I can see her linking up with Anders here because she tends to gravitate towards working with men. I think Jenn Secular has nine lives in every game she plays so it wouldn't surprise me if we saw her in endgame.

naomi - I'm not going to watch Naomi's interview at this exact moment but we've had a 50% success rate with MafiaScum people (Kilby sux, Jess rules) but something tells me Naomi is not going to do well. I'd predict her as the first boot from this tribe if they lose before a swap, because I simply do not have faith in anybody with that camera quality.

Clotho

amberly - i kinda skimmed through her interview a little bit and it seems like she has a really good energy. i don't think i've ever seen someone come over from the Discord community to this community so i'm not exactly sure how she's gonna do, but she strikes me as a player who will be working a lot behind the scenes but able to hide behind the bigger players. i can see her linking up with Jessaca maybe but it's hard to tell with the dynamics of this tribe.

aaron - i'm not sure if Aaron is a good player or not? i think the one non-alias game we played together was Gilligan's 4 where everybody considered him to be really good at challenges, and I also kinda had tunnel vision about getting him out because of the ~TAHOE CONNECTION~. i personally do not find him to be very likeable and his personality is actually a little bit grating but it seems like a lot of the time other people are charmed by him, so I don't expect to see him go early.

devon - i see Devon being like Jacob from last season - someone who comes from the ~live game~ scene and absolutely overplays the online version, completely alienating everyone else and making himself a big target. i predict a disaster on Devon's end, but like, a fun one!

jessaca - i really like Jessaca tbh, she's one of the nicest people i've met in this community in a long time, and she just kinda has a knack for these games. from viewing her multiple times she has a tendency to overthink, but never ends up overplaying, which i think works to her benefit. she's very good at going through every scenario and choosing the correct one. it'll be interesting to see how things play out with her and Aaron because I think they're loosely connected via Power Struggle but other than that she'll be surrounded by fresh faces here and i think she'll be in her element.

danny - Danny is a nice dude and everything but i don't think it's any coincidence he got first boot in Sequester. most of the mini-centric people in this community tend to play longterm games and treat them like minis, spinning out pretty quickly. i think that Danny will make himself an easy target early on and will end up being the default boot if this tribe loses.
