Catching up on confessionals now, specifically Meleager confessionals.
1. 100% agree on the Jack 26 minute confessional. Good content there. Dude is SMART, or smaht if you want to go all Boston. I think I said this a round or two ago, but Jack literally possesses all the skills to crush this game. And the fact that he's already been voted out before, I think that will only cause people to underestimate him. OG Lachesis is probably talking about how inactive he was on their original tribe too. Hot take: Jack will be the last Lachesis left in the game.
2. Even tough Naomi could get 2 votes, I'm really impressed with how she's playing this round. She hasn't really stood out to me as a strategist yet, but Naomi's social game is so killer...feels like her/jack are in the best spot on this tribe.
3. Hmmm. I guess I'm just doing a f'ing power ranking of this Meleager tribe ehh? didn't plan for that.
I guess Kait would be next. But it's a huge huge drop off for me between Jack/Naomi and then Kait.
I just don't get telling Lexi that her name is going around unless Kait wants to genuinely shake things up and get like Devon out or something...?
4. Devon hmm. I guess Devon is just overplaying a bit. It doesn't seem so egregious, but he just seems kind of anxious to make sure he's in the best position on this tribe. Like yea, it's definitely a good idea to be talking with everyone and trying to form some solid bonds, but then it's probably not a good idea to throw out names so willy-nilly. I can't imagine things getting flipped on Devon this round, but I'm afraid for his chances to survive more tribals with this group...and that sucks b/c I still think Devon is suuuuuch a fascinating character and so entertaining to watch...and the Devon/Jess rivalry needs to continue at merge.
5/6. I'll lump Jenn/Lexi together.
I don't even really know what Jenn is doing "wrong" in this game. Maybe prod people can comment more on Jenn's game. She just seems like this toneless UTR2 character who hasn't gotten going yet, but will probably have an incredible one or two episode OTTN arc before getting booted. But no one really has anything negative to ever say about Jenn, but it's never extraordinarily positive either...
I guess I'm OK with Lexi going from this tribe (EVEN IF IT MEANS LOSING SUICIDE PICK 'EM. IT'S FINE.). She calls Devon boring, and maybe he is on calls, but Lexi hasn't been nearly as entertaining to watch as Devon, and Devon is at least playing the game much harder. Also Lexi commented in confessional something like "why don't these people just pull me in as a vote..." which I think is just flawed gameplay here.
Plus, believing the twist/swap was unfair I think is kinda meh. Anything can happen in Survivor; luck is often a factor in games--that's just how it goes sometimes. So much of Survivor is about overcoming adversity too, and getting swap-f'd and then maneuvering your way to the end would provide a great story to sway jurors.
To add on to Lexi's spot: Naomi is effectively in the same spot as her. In the majority -> dragged to the weaker tribe with someone who wants her out in Jenn.
Naomi was able to hustle and get herself back into a majority, look past Jenn hating her and build bonds. When you're put in a bad spot on a swap its up to you to be the most connected.
Say what you will about devon overplaying/being sketchy - I think we're seeing people DO prefer "Sketchy but known" over "no read" on lexi.
Lexi is just going to throw Kait hard under the bus. Lexi will probably still go, but it's going to make Kait look untrustworthy, and less committed to the jack/Naomi group. Has ripple effect on her position. If a group is doing a blindside and you're the leak it makes you look less trustworthy.
Honestly it just harkens back to Devon not being a good player at all. Lexi had no issue with Devon leading into the swap. She wasn’t coming for him at all and was totally fine voting Naomi or Jenn out and even let Devon know what she heard so they could plan together. Devon is just wanting to play that sleazy role so hard that he’d rather screw over people that would work with him (to be a villain, I guess, idk) as opposed to doing what sane people would do in survivor.
Everything Devon touches turns to chaos which is his own doing and this role always has to be filled in a season. It’s the big difference between Messy Danny and Messy Devon. Danny plays a game you laugh with and Devon plays a game you laugh at. That’s not towards him as a person, but game wise, it’s shocking really.
Like Naomi and Kait were two of my favourite people to watch personally, and Jack looked like he'd never get his game into gear. Naomi for sure is playing harder here than she's ever played in any situation and I'm there for it. And I'm totally there for Kait and Jack living up to their potential as players. This is the best possible outcome for that tribe, from my selfish perspective as a viewer.

This honestly. I think Devon wants to be the evil gameboy type - but he isn't. He's super emotional
That leads to him overcompensating on the gamebot to mask that he was really hurt by Lexi. But he puts it into game terms so for him it hides that it stung a lot. He doesn't want to admit that, and I think it's going to burn his game.
Devon will regret taking out Lexi I think. He called Lexi to comfort her earlier because she seemed upset about what's going on. I just don't get the point of doing that if you know you're going to vote her out anyway.
Oh my god, Danny was (mostly) right about happenings of the game in his latest confessional! I still don't know how he thinks certain things form time to time, but I have to give him credit that he's putting in the work and is perceptive of tribe dynamics! Still a superstar.
Lexi, 8:32 PM
So I told Naomi and Devon I’m voting Jenn out because either way I am just to either give her immunity if I go or save myself and Devon’s like trying to demand me to vote Naomi. He’s very angry and I’m just laughing.
Lexi, 10:13 PM
GUYS im making a confessional. You all have to watch. Naomi has tried getting me to vote first jenn, now told me to vote herself and then devon and NOW JACK. she threw out 4 names. And I straight up told her you all just want one of you immune huh. IM LIVING

Devon trying to power trip Lexi into voting someone for dying wish twist is lil disgusting, his gameplay to me falls under the category of "can't have your cake and eat it too" type of blunders. I'm still hoping he makes it to the merge though because I want to see him and Jess just brawl.
If Lexi goes tonight, I'm sort of sad because I think there was more to her arc to be fulfilled and I think it'd be more intriguing to see her on NuLachesis after the whole Devon vote out but alas, it is what it is
I really hope she just goes off at tribal on both of them. If she's going out I want her to just give it to them.
