As much as I want the Meleager 2 v 9 underdog story, I feel the season has lost a little momentum because of Meleager losing each challenge. I'm hoping Meleager pulls out a victory this round, just so the fuse can be lit on Lachesis an implode even more during the merge. I think all of Lachesis are queasy lil ones, an a few of them want to throw anyways.
I hope Lachesis loses, I think as great as it would be to see Lexi pick who stays, to see the drama and how things would fall on Lachesis would be better, I would say some of them have had an easy ride with not having to go to tribal for 6 rounds but I am not one to speak as I was in that same situation. Also I really want Jack and Naomi to make merge cuz I think they will both play a big part in merge dynamics.
I think with these matchups, Meleager is more likely to win. I think if anders went against Lexi instead and Danny against jack, then Lachesis would have a chance but I see jack and Lexi taking the points As the matchups stand.
Ok. So I just started catching up on confessionals from the past few days, and something in Naomi's confessional triggered me...where she's talking about whether she should have told Kait she was going or not, and how she would rather be told she's going home rather than get blindsided.
First off, my feelings on this have absolutely nothing to do with Naomi or this past round of endure 7...
More of a universal thought, but I just really hate telling someone they're going and/or being told myself that I'm leaving. Getting blindsided by a vote is like a rite of passage in ORGs. Yea it's a huge bummer and can be super upsetting, but it's also so exhilarating and as a huge Survivor fan I live for it. But also, if you tell me I'm leaving I will pop tf off with the limited time I have left.
And this might have come up in the VL chat at one point, but I rarely if ever see the merit in telling someone they're leaving. More often than not,if you're the person telling someone they're leaving, then he or she is only going to get much more angry at you. It's like "hey, i'm kind enough to tell you you're going home, but i'm not kind enough to do anything about it and try to save you. k thx bye." Of course it's somewhat circumstantial, but I think rarely is the optimal play to let someone know you're voting them out.
Not to mention I've seen stuff go awry in games when someone gets told they're leaving (i.e., a 9-1 vote where the person catching nine votes has an idol and plays it...).
Alright, mini-tangent over.

I think everyone participating for Lachesis is okay with losing. Danny is trying very hard to figure out how he can throw it within context of the rules.
