Enjoying getting to know my team now that I've had some time to get my footing... a little bit of overthinking game theory in there but I didn't ever get to my point: I think it would be beneficial for a group of people to vote together to ensure someone was immune while keeping the target of that twist off of the group, if that is at all logical.
I'm basically just staying calm, reminding myself not to overplay, and seeking out where natural connections exist for me.
So Billy (God bless him--if Adrianne is first girl friend he is first straight friend) put together this plan that was totally in line with what I was wanting from the initial stages of this game.
I guess Andres and Dustin are bff and have been talking lots with him about how to coordinate their lists with a group of people from our team. Billy suggested myself and Rob as being part of that team. Then Billy got on call with Rob and I separately to put the plan in action: Rob, Billy, myself and Adrianne (I'll get to her part in a second) are going to be a core group of 4 with Anders and Dustin as our figureheads to make a broader team of 6. In our utopia the two AlphaGays will "call the shots" and take the heat while the four of us follow orders like good little soldiers. Once a couple people leave from our team--we assume there wont be a swap given the perimeters of the twist--we could topple one of the AlphaGays "in the dark" without being exposed moving forward.
The more immediate plan (according to Billy) is for Dustin to be voted the Lord of the Light and for him to pick Adrianne to "reel her in" to the group of 6. Of course we have already filled Adrianne in and asked her to act pleasantly surprised when that happens.
Of course this is WAY too planned out and perfect to actually come to fruition weeks from now but it feels so good to at least have the blueprints of a plan.
Aside from the strategy mumbo jumbo I am clicking with and building the foundations of trust with Adrianne, Rob, and Billy. I am nervous that living with Sam has rubbed off on Billy and that he will become a sneaky little snake at some point in the future but I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt and am so grateful that he did the leg work last night to put this all together. I have few to no reservations about Rob and Adrianne; they are both gems.
Dustin and Anders I'm not clicking with at all so far but I really feel like it isn't for lack of trying on my part. I actually prefer the likes of Mike and Alex but am not willing to upset any social hierarchy that doesn't have me at the bottom for now.
Jay reads like a straightforward brah type guy who might try to make a big move without putting in the effort socially for it to work. That said, I am totally open to working with him moving forward.
And then there is Julia... she's MIA and she's a witch. That's all.

The theory here is that the last place person is getting something too, so trying to keep Anders away from that position while getting Dustin immunity like intended.
I didn't think to discuss this when I recorded the video... but a note on how to play this twist right:
If I'm ever voted Mr. Popular (or I know for a matter of fact that I'm going to be picked to be immune) I am completely going to try and throw the immunity challenge. When you think about it, Anders and Dustin were provided with a fantastic opportunity to get away with murder but instead of being able to take advantage of it it just makes them appear to be threatening.
Given that both AlphaGays have gotten it, it would be incredibly bold of either of them to ask people to vote them number 1 again... so hopefully one of my people (Adrianne/Rob/Billy) get get it next time and leave them vunerable moving into a possible vote.
