Joey called Mike out on the 5 person call immediately after tribal. Mike basically said he thinks Jenn and Jay are the biggest threats left (HES NOT WRONG) but I think the way he's handling this is shaping up for him to be an easy boot for this round...

This is the perfect opportunity for Jay to lay low as the aftermath goes on, help reduce his target and get further

If Harrison's popularity rating is a 5.0 from last round I'm leaving the VL.

I also think Joey could be in trouble this round. It depends on if Jenn is willing to finally cut Jay. I get that she'll be the next biggest target but you're gonna be down to 5 after this round, at some point you have to just take that target.

I just watched Mike's confessional, and I think it's one of the best and most strategically on-point he's been all season. I'm glad that he was seemingly willing to get his hands dirty last round in order to get exactly what he wanted to happen..to happen. Albeit messy AF, from my understanding, but PLAYING THE DANG GAME HARD. I love it.

There was also this fire in Mike that I haven't seen in a while, realizing how damn close to the end he is and that he has come this far and needs to play to win and not just hand the game to who he accurately perceives as the threats to win--Jenn/Jay/Joey...And it brings me back to why I enjoyed Mike pre-game. His story of coming back this season for redemption is great and I'd still really enjoy if he got to the end.

Clearly Jay/Jenn/Joey would be more exciting winners, but I think it's easy to sleep on Mike playing a pretty decent game. It's been rocky at points, but I think he's come into his own at the merge. As he mentions in confessional, he's never voted in the minority at merge or been blindsided post-merge. Granted, it's people like Jay looping Mike in on stuff (I assume)...but I'm still somewhat impressed.

Also, I'm a big fan of MIKE taking the initiative to reach out to Harrison and try to make that connection, knowing he needs to sit in F3/F2 with Harrison and/or Alex. Ultimately, if Mike is able to take Joey or Jenn out this round, then work with Harrison and Alex to get Jenn/Jay out afterwards, I think the guy deserves the win.

***

If it's a F2 this season, I'd be surprised to see Jenn or Joey or Jay make it to FTC. Any one of them would probably have to win the last challenge or two to get there.

I certainly don't think Jenn/Joey/Jay are completely donezo. Anything could happen. But I don't know if I see their path to the end right now, though I could see one of them slipping into the F3 if that's what it is this season.

With all that said above, though, I'm very curious to see what Jenn and Joey and Jay as individuals try to do this round and in the coming rounds to get to the end. They are all very capable players with the ability to pull something out of their proverbial hats. Jay's shown that ability time and time again this season.

THOTS DURING EPISODE 14

RIP Gibson, I don't think I would've expected to see him leave in the chaos of that round, but then again things got so crazy before tribal that I had no clue what to expect. Gibson played hard and although he wasn't a front-runner, he gave it his all, made some cool plays, and kept things entertaining!

Now he leaves us with our final 6. I wanna save a big write-up for the final 5 so for now instead of my usual stuff, I'll give everyone a gif.
