As per usual, I will remind you that KTANE is a REAL GAME that you can play, and more importantly buy and support the developers who are wonderful people that deserve your money more than any of you.

And you can even play it with people you like and not the chumps you'd be forced to play with in Endure.

I'm honestly so here for an even split going into a merge, it's going to be really exciting seeing how crosstribe dynamics will play out and who will actually play this the smartest and not result in being an absolute mess

I tried, somehow I got sucked back into this.

Alex having to try to remember Rob's name 7 rounds into this game is why I don't think he's setting up for a win, you gotta do that social ground work !!

A few thoughts~~~

On Utren:

I'm kinda sad that Jacob has sorta packed it in the past round or two. Yea, his efforts to scramble after the Sarena blindside were a little misguided, but he was still out there fighting and trying to salvage his game. Maybe he's truly been busy lately? Or the game has just taken a toll and affected him in a really deep way? Being his first major skype game, I don't feel like Jacob has anything to be ashamed of--he played hard from the jump and made the same mistakes that any relative "newbie" might make.

On the other hand, I think Gibby's experience has allowed him to recover well and re-integrate himself into the tribe. The million alliances that Sarena and Jacob made weren't really his fault, so it's nice that he's been able to distance himself from their scheming. Gibby is smart enough to know that he's on the bottom of Utren presumably going into merge, and I think it'll make him a fun player to watch as things become individual...although he doesn't have seemingly any super solid bonds with Utren, I still think Gibby may find himself in a desirable swing spot.

Otherwise on Utren, I'm looking forward to Jayden and Kilby/Jenn eventually turning against each other. Though I think they should be able to at least have numbers for an early merge vote off or two.

On Vecher:

It's so wild that Kurtis has gone from the bottom to basically the top, winning the blinding light and just totally driving a wedge between Dustin/Adrianne and Jay/Alex. He seems to have lost the trust of Mike a bit, but he can probably regain that...Kurtis could very well do some damage at merge.

Assuming he gets to merge, I'll be curious to see what Mike does. I think he has the best odds of making FTC from Vecher, though not necessarily winning the game. Vecher has really mismanaged Mike and he has every reason to flip on them at merge.

I'm hopeful though that Adrianne/Dustin can immediately work some relationships with Utren and get a cross-tribal alliance to save themselves.
Hard to say exactly what will happen at merge...and yea, there's still probably another boot or two to go, but I think whatever solid cross-tribal alliance comes together will control the merge...
Total speculation, but I could see a group of like Jayden/Harrison/Joey/Adrianne/Dustin/Kurtis forming. Who knows though.

My favorite thing is in the Facebook teaser, Sam used the phrase “earn their light” and I don’t think any of them expect they’ll have to actually fight their way to merge but spoilers it’s not being handed to them

Jacob has kind of disappeared today which makes me sorta sad because I think if he was around campaigning he might have been able to stick around over Gibson. I was hoping we'd see him eventually get to the merge because I think it would've been a more interesting dynamic. I think if Gibson and Adrianne both make merge it'll end up becoming a more polarized environment as they battle it out, and whichever trbe gets the early majority might just pick the other tribe off. Who knows though

I'm a little worried about Gibson over the next week, he's got some personal stuff going on and it will understandably affect his availability and while it won't impact him in the game from us as a hosting stance, i'm worried he may not be able to find his footing and that would be sad. He's entertaining to watch and I think that he has real potential to do well this merge.
