Adrianne just called me freaking out asking if she should tell Jay about the Anders vote last minute last minute, she (accurately) realizes Jay probably isn't that close to Anders

I think it'd be good for her game, but even if she doesn't, I'd figure Jay snags the string before Dustin? It'd be very interesting if she told him and then Dustin got to snag the string hopefully.

If she doesn't, I think Jay scoops up Dustin and tries to form a three person alliance with Alex.

The probably with that is Kurtis already assumes that those 3 (+ Anders) are working together, so I don't know if that would be a good idea for Jay.

Regardless, Jay/Dustin/Alex(?) will get idol clues. If they stick together and figure out how to get the idol, they could pull a huge blindside on someone and change everything again.

Which means Alex is going to vote for Anders.

Which means Dustin will be the only one with the idol clue (holy shit).

So Dustin or Alex will get clues and (hopefully Dustin) snag the string and get the idol during tomorrow's challenge

I think ultimately Anders dug his grave with this one, but with such a long premerge period, I think it maybe would have been smarter for people like Adrianne and Billy to hold it off another round, but at the same time, they gained a great ally in Mike it seems! I think their logic of trying for Alex, and if that does not seem to be working to target Anders was about right. Rob and Kurtis are both the narrators and players I didn't realize how much I needed! Bless! I hope Adrianne and Dustin can recover, because I think as people have mentioned, Dustin being on the bottom could actually be good for his game with how much of a social threat he seems to be. It looks like Dustin and Alex will be receiving idol clues, and I really hope Dustin gets an idol. Alex low-key is letting me down, just not building the bonds he needs to so I think we'd see some more interesting idol play from Dustin.

I'm laughing at Alex thinking there's a swap as if that wouldn't ruin the entire in the dark twist

Last thoughts before tribal:

Once this blindside happens, I hope a dynamic change occurs on Vecher. Anders going home opens the game up for others to shine, and I'd love to see this tribe win a challenge or two in order for that to establish.

I have a sneaky suspicion that Adrianne may realize that Rob/Kurtis/Billy have too much power and that she might not play a role in their game long term. Could she use Dustin (who she would be his ONLY ally if he forgives her), Jay and Alex as weapons? Or will she play it safe with those boys?

Adrianne has this game in the palm of her hands, if she plays it right this tribe (who is socially better than Utren) could be her driving force to the end.
