Anders/Dustin on an ADA call and the beginning was pretty much just ranting about Michael and Alex, but still leaning towards wanting Mike out.
Now they've been discussing their sex knowledge. Including thinking hymens break and all girls bleed the first time they have sex.

Dustin threw shade in response to Alex's rant. I hope this turns into a "You showed up drunk to a challenge" rant like DK S4. |

Utren are all congratulating themselves and singing each others' praises... while Vecher is meticulously sifting through posts to delete to try to nullify Utren's points. It's not all over yet, and it'll be interesting to see the outcome

Vecher is down by 5 but they think that they're only down by 1. They're strategically deleting posts but I don't think it'll be enough. If they somehow pull out a win it will literally be a Hail Mary.
In a different note, on Utren a new alliance called "Morning Squad" was formed with Harrison, Jayden and Sarena

Is that alliance legit? Or are they just giving Sarena what she wants to hear?

probably just what they want to hear.
it's interesting cause obviously joey knows jayden/kilby/jenn are tight and him and harrison aren't in it for the long haul, so after jacob's eventual elimination, i think we might see things shift a bit

Although Utren WON this round, they are the tribe I'm caught up on first...so, how about some thoughts?
I absolutely love that this Jayden/Kilby versus Jacob/Sarena/Gibby battle is going to come to a head soon, and the more it gets put off by a challenge win the more anticipation builds and the more excited I get to see it play out. At this point the Jacob/Sarena/Gibby group seems pretty f'd, particularly Jacob...
Jacob's last confessional was pretty funny--he complains that he's not willing to wake up wicked early to call with Jayden, whose time zone sitch can make it tough to communicate. And yet, Jayden is the ONE PERSON that Jacob really needs to talk to and form at least a decent enough relationship with to the point where Jayden might be ok with Sarena or Gibby going. Jacob seems to really get all of the strategic aspects of this game, and that's all fine and dandy, but I think he's really overlooking the fact that everyone talks to each other. You can't assume that just because you have a majority alliance that it means youre safe--gotta keep hustling and maintain social relationships with everyone to an extent, even if it means hopping on call in the morning or afternoon.
And just from confessionals, I don't totally get painting Jenn as this sketchy strategic mastermind. If it's truly just a matter of her winning Conquest, I think people (Jacob mainly) are miscalculating things. Gotta just play with the person you see in front of you. From my perspective it just seems like Jenn was written off by some on this tribe based on game history and night one impressions...though good for her for seemingly linking up with the right people who'd go to bat for her.
Kilby, to his own admission, has made mistakes so far, but it seems like he's calmed down a bit--or at least that he's found a way to balance things on this tribe. He seems committed to the Jayden/Jenn/Joey/Harrison alliance (The Wildlife people or something?), and I don't think it makes sense for them to turn on Kilby b/c he'll be such a big target at the merge.
Joey's perception of the tribe dynamics is scary good. He knows that he's 4 or 5 with the Jayden/Kilby alliance...and yet he kinda knows that's his best option. Whenever Utren does lose and heads to tribal, I hope Joey can push for the person HE WANTS to see leave between Jacob/Sarena/Gibby. I personally wouldn't want to leave a scorned Sarena or Gibby in the game, whereas I think Jacob would be more forgiving and understanding of a game move. I wish I had a better sense for who Joey actually likes on a personal or social level in this game...for me Joey's arc is drifting a bit into gamebotish territory. Or maybe it's just that Joey really doesn't feel especially close to anyone on this tribe? Either way the guy is clearly doing a lot right.
I guess I shoulda just broken this down person-by-person. Oh well. Maybe next time. Utren ain't losing anyone this round anyway.

Quick Note: If you need to get caught up on Vecher happenings before this tribal, DEFINITELY watch Rob's last confessional. A bit long, but very thorough and insightful. Rob is MY narrator this season.
Sounds like the vote is between Anders and Alex, and it seems like it'll be the first real blindside of the game--so that's pretty cool. From a purely entertainment standpoint, I want Anders to stay and Alex to go, but I think Anders going will be a lot more interesting and I understand the rationale for the Billy/Kurtis/Adrianne/Rob/Mike alliance to get rid of him. The two survivor Maryland people going out back to back would be kinda nuts too.
This seems like a really functional alliance (billy/kurtis/adrianne/rob/mike), with people who say they want to play loyal and are a bit more low-key. If Alex goes, I can see Jay possibly being scooped up into the majority. And if Anders goes, I think Dustin will be able to recover and still find a safe spot on this tribe, within this dynamic.
Billy--
We haven't seen a Billy confessional in a hot minute, but it sounds like he's doing a lot of things right. I think he was someone who figured out that Anders and Dustin could be a duo, and he identified Anders as a big threat. And it seems like Billy has been very proactive in aligning himself with solid people on this tribe, so kudos to him.
Kurtis--
I wish I knew how Kurtis can make a 2-minute confessional and make you feel like you know everything about his game. WHAT'S HIS SECRET??? I can totally see why people gravitate towards him--when he talks you just want to listen. Much like Billy, it seems like Kurtis is being proactive and having some control over things without being too overbearing. Anders leaving will cause the spotlight to turn somewhere else--I wonder if it could be on Kurtis?
Adrianne--
I hope Adrianne can somehow push for an Alex boot, because I think that benefits her game most at the moment. But even if Anders goes, I think Adrianne can do some good damage control with Dustin. Keep playing that middle, Queen.
Rob--
Rob is winning this game. If he keeps playing the game like he is. I think Rob is always going to figure out how to align with people who are perceived bigger threats than himself. He just GETS IT AND GETS THIS GAME. His last confessional was so CP, weighing the option of just going with an Alex boot if Anders agrees to it...or doing Anders if Anders is stubborn about wanting Mike out and saving Alex.
And Rob has the awareness to know that a few people will be pissed with an Anders blindside, and it's imperative he prevents the messiness from happening...well, there will be a mess regardless, but it's about mitigating how bad it is.
Also, Rob telling Billy not to give him immunity but receiving it anyway is pretty awesome.
Mike--
I'm really glad that Mike is finding some traction in this game. He seems sweet, and seems like the type of player who will be loyal to the death for whoever brings him into the fray. If you didn't watch his confessionals from this round, you 100% should. There's this really competitive attitude and game-on mentality that comes out of Mike all of a sudden...like the switch has turned out--I guess that's what happens when you hear someone throwing your name out!!
Also, I love the idea of Mike sitting in FTC and being like "I was the very first boot in the history of the series--now sitting here at the end of the sixth season...BOOM" *MIC(MIKE) DROP* ..especially if I didn't know up until then that he was the first boot ever, I'd be SHOOK.
Anders--
Even if Anders survives this round, I think he's in a heap of trouble. It's wild how he's killed the social game with most people, but seemingly dropped the ball with someone like Kurtis who has a lot of influence. It's his first time playing one of these games though, so I understand some of the mistakes he's making.
If he goes I think it's just a matter of being over-excited and over-playing a bit, and also over looking some of the small things.
Dustin--
I really don't think Dustin is doing anything wrong here...just being too closely associated with Anders. But I think Anders going will be GREAT for Dustin's long-term chances. He still has very solid bonds elsewhere, with people like Adrianne...and maybe an Anders blindside would be the kick he needs to strengthen relationships elsewhere. Dustin's social game is very good, so I imagine he'll be fine regardless of what happens this round.
Alex & Jay--
I kinda forget they're on this tribe sometimes--NOT SAYING THAT AS A DIG ON THEM--it's just that they haven't really factored into the major alliances, and even Jay knows he's probably not a part of whatever majority is out there.
I'm glad Jay put in a ton of effort into the challenge, proving to this tribe that he wants to be here. I know he's said he wants to work harder to make social bonds now that he has the time...I do hope Jay is delivering on that, b/c I think he'd be an interesting player to watch at merge, as he kinda knows he's towards the bottom with this group.
People are SUPER PISSED at Alex for not helping much with the challenge. Can you blame them? The 24-hour tribe posting challenge is a lot of work and requires some grit. You bond as a tribe while staying up til 6AM. Alex just wasn't a part of any of that this round, and it's going to be incredibly tough to reverse things here. Whether Alex stays or not, I think he's in big trouble. He would need to REALLY change what he's doing so far, or hope someone screws up worse than him.
***
Overall I love the Vecher group, and I take no joy out of seeing any of them go. There are so many people I root for on this tribe and want them to be the group that does well at the merge.
And with all that is going on this round with Vecher, I wouldn't be shocked for the dynamics to shift once again. That seems to be the nature of this season.

I was just saying this to Daniel last night. I think if Anders leaves, it will be that dose of reality Dustin needs to realize things weren't what he thought, readjust and THRIVE. I don't think Anders leaving is a nail in Dustin's coffin at all. I think Dustin is smart and social enough to maneuver a way out of it.
I'm personally leaning towards an Alex boot, just because he tends to be more on the whiny side of things from a hosting standpoint, but he also doesn't really factor into things. I want Anders to stay too just for the drama it will cause. I think that Anders needs to let go of the Mike thing this round though if he wants a chance at staying, but sadly he doesn't even seem to realize he could be in danger. Part of me hopes that when Adrianne tells Jay about possibly booting Anders, that Jay will use that to his advantage and try to save Anders somehow. I want to see that last minute scramble and the drama it could bring to tribal.

[12:58:00 PM] ☼Dustin☼: so yall its looks like ALex is trying to form a group
[12:58:13 PM] ☼Dustin☼: and I'm guiding him to add people only from this group LOL
[12:59:03 PM] rob r: He’s talked to me 1:1 but nothing too deep on strategy. He did mention wanting to find a group and he’s nervous
[12:59:42 PM] Billy W: He just messaged me to pitched me a group of Rob, Jay, I and I told him I didnt know enough of people's game yet to make that call
[1:02:37 PM | Edited 1:02:38 PM] ☼Dustin☼: He told me he wants a group of Rob, Billy, Anders, Adrianne & Me
[1:03:56 PM] Billy W: I think he's just trying to find a group that sticks
[1:09:59 PM] Kurtis Roddewig: Lol wtf alex be my friend too!
this is messy gameplay on Alex's end if it's true. If you're gonna go to multiple people saying you want a group, you better make sure you know the dynamics well enough - because saying different names for those groups and not knowing if people talk is risky. This combined with his poor challenge performance could send him out the door if he keeps being this messy today.
