Ok back on topic.

If they (Adrianne/Dustin) already see Rob/Mike flipping (which is a correct assumption based off of their confessionals), I can understand why they'd just want to sever their ties with them. However, when the merge has never been confirmed at 12, why do they want to throw these challenges after cutting Rob? I just think that it's pointless.

I get Kurtis' game right now, I just worry where he is going to go once merge hits. He has to basically restart his social game to get to the end IF he wants to flip on Vecher. However, if Dustin/Alex/Jay make it to merge, I see them all working with Jenn. Jenn hosted Alex/Jay in the most recent season of Voyage, and Dustin has hosted Jenn in a Tumblr Survivor game that she won. If they do take out Mike after Rob and then win the 12th place challenge, I could see them working with her come merge time.

But I just don't even know if that "core" group on Vecher even sticks together. Jay has this fascination of flipping on his tribe without any knowledge of what the other tribe's dynamic is. I agree that he holds a lot of power but I think he should be more realistic on his abilities to find the cracks on Utren.

In my eyes, Joey/Jayden/Harrison/Jenn/Kilby are stronger than Dustin/Adrianne/Jay/Alex/Kurtis. Jay and Kurtis have both exemplified distrust with the tribe as of late (with Dustin having distrust after the Anders vote), while the only person the Utren core doesn't really trust is Kilby.

Whenever merge may be (whether it is @ 9, 10 or 11), I think we will ultimately see 2 or 3 people from the same tribe at the end of the game. My money is on Jayden/Joey/Harrison but we shall see.

I feel so bad for Rob. He's right, some of his tribe isn't playing smart and I'd be frustrated if I was in his position too. He's so beat up about the challenge and I honestly wish it wasn't him going tonight. I think this move makes sense for jay and Alex who are slowly becoming the most powerful players, as it would be easy to orchestrate a move with kurtis to take out Adrianne of Dustin, and as jay is really selling the fact he hasn't gotten idol clues. I think for many "self preservation" wouldn't be enough, but for kurtis who is a solid social player and really seems to understand the wAy the game moves quickly, I think this is perfect. I believe he will have a chance to recover and will be the player others reach out to when
They want to make a move. I hope hope hope the vote flips to mike tonight but it doesn't seem likely. If all goes as planned we are losing one of the absolutely most entertaining players in the game which is really too bad. :/

To be fair, I don't think he would be in this situation if they hadn't voted out Anders. It's easy to forget that the reason this tribe has been doing blindside after blindside because Rob/Kurtis/Billy/Adrianne decided they wanted to get Anders out. At any point they could have stopped that.

You're right, I think the whole tribe is cracked. But also it wasn't as much of a huge move/blindside for Rob, who didn't have much of a relationship with Anders to begin with than it was for Adrianne and Billy. Meaning, I wouldn't necessarily say setting the tone of the moves on this tribe fell on Rob's shoulders.
