Kilby voted out after not playing or passing his idol. Andrew played Utren hard and they all bought that he was self voting.
We're back even at 5-5 Vecher and Utren. I think tribal lines are down the drain at this point and I think things are going to get messy af.
This vote I think sets the stage moving forward for a great merge game.

Hi it me
I don't think Dan will pass the idol. I think even though if he were to pass the idol and not get voted out that would be an incredible stunt to pull off, I don't think he will because it comes down to pride and not making bone-headed decisions that would be embarrassing as hell. That's the reason why in Season 2 I put my foot in my mouth when I told Molly I'd throw PC for her, and then in the end decided against it because if I got voted out on that I'd feel like such a moron. Either way I was fucked but ya know... much like Kilby is in this game I guess?

Ahahaha look at how aware I am of reading people and situations, thank god I've never played Survivor... fuck

Also Andrew Gibson is my favourite this season and it feels so weird to say that but he's just so damn great. I remember when Sam told me he was casting him I wasn't too sold on it due to his polarizing, somewhat overbearing demeanor in other games I've seen him in but seeing more of what's happening on the inside and how he's handling himself and whatnot has made me had a complete 180 on him.

i literally cannot fathom why jayden would would admit to this move for any reason except dumb pride, like you could have literally just gotten away with murder with gibson admitting to not wanting to lay down and die, it's so dumb

Also as of last round, Kurtis is the only person in the game who does not have a single vote against him.

Kilby was a really good sport about this. We definitely lose a big character here...he was a villain to root against, which every season def needs. Swung for the fences and missed, yet still made a huge impact on the season. Glad he didnt pass the idol too--the game feels really open now for more moves to be made.

And kudos to Gibson for making Kilby, and well all of Utren, believe that he would actually self-vote. Gibby has been a pleasant surprise this season and really does seem to have tweaked his game for the better...whether he admits to voting Kilby or not, I think he's in a decent spot now. Jayden immediately saying he voted Kilby is great for Gibby. Takes the heat for no reason.

I’m really excited that this merge isn’t going to be a big bust since we had all of our larger characters leave early. That’s all. Live long and prosper!!!

I think for sure we lose Jenn or Joey this round it's inevitable. But I don't see Vecher holding up beyond that.

Little rant about Utren tonight (I'd do Vecher too but their night can be summed up by this song.
I hate watching Jayden make a lot of bad moves during this time because I'm rooting for him hardcore to win. I think this round was too early to turn on Utren, I think it would've been better to take out a central Vecher first like Jay to break the tribal lines more first. Plus he definitely should not have revealed his own betrayal once Gibson gave him an opportunity to roll with things. To his credit, the middle man game he's gotten himself into is a tough game to play to begin with, but he definitely made mistakes tonight.
I also feel really bad for Harrison because he's getting a bunch of slack for this. Jenn and Joey don't believe him (partially bc he tried backtracking on how Jayden knew so much about the "I have concerns" group, but the rest of his story checked out). The guy is tired af trying to piece things together and Joey and Jenn are seeing this as him being a bad liar. His move now should be to go with Jayden but I think he's frustrated because he's being seen as Jayden's sidekick and he doesn't want that.
I will say though that the position Utren finds themselves in right now is absolutely their own design. A lot is fueled by Kilby's paranoia, but Jenn and Joey seemed to really buy into the things Kilby was saying. I also think they failed to really try and reach out to Vecher especially once they had the numbers advantage. They're gonna have their work cut out for them, i just gotta hope that we don't see a Pagonging.
Sidenote I could see Kurtis sooner than later making a move against Jayden Dustin or Jay because they're seeming very buddy-buddy these last few rounds and that might be threatening to his game.

Beyond all the shit-talk posts I wrote about Kilby (and I wrote a LOT), he succeeded in what he wanted to do this game. He wanted to be a big character and leave a lasting impact, and he really did. He was a very entertaining player and without him I don’t think Utren would have been entertaining pre-merge. Obviously we don’t know who would be in his spot instead, but he was the main catalyst for almost all of the drama on that tribe - and for that it is MUCH appreciated.
Andrew Gibson was underestimated by SO many people, including myself. This is a game-changing move that he can put on his resumé. He not only had to convince Vecher to save him (not that hard), he had to convince Kilby + Utren that he was self-voting (lol), AND had to fight off temptation to tell others on his tribe about it (Joey). Major props to him!
I agree that Jayden fucked himself hard. I think there was a chance Vecher didn’t throw him under the bus, but he did it himself. Jenn/Joey/Harrison absolutely need him, but will they stick together to try to get a Vecher out? That I don’t know. Joey can be vindictive and scrappy, so if they try going for Jayden, I can see it going through.
Kurtis’ gameplay has really been great as of late. I was really worried for him at the start of merge, but I think him figuring out that Utren can’t be immediately trusted (because of Jayden ironically, lol) made him secure his alliance with Vecher. I know Dustin trusts him A LOT, which is shocking since he has fucked Dustin over several times, thrown him under he bus and has consistently wanted him out...but Dustin really likes him so yay Kurtis!
Jay has had such an interesting story, but I think he’s going to fizzle out soon. He’s played very aggressive at merge, which is great but I do think he will end up being the first Vecher to go. Kurtis is onto him, and if Joey/Harrison/Jenn leave in the next round or 2, there won’t be numbers for Jay to flip to.
Alex has been doing exceptionally well, and I see him as a lock for at least F5. His UTR game can be changed fast if he leads the charge to get people out like Kurtis, and Utren won’t target him over Jay/Kurtis/Dustin.
Right now I see a F3 of Kurtis/Mike/Alex. But I also thought 3 rounds ago the F3 would be Jayden/Joey/Harrison. Hahaha. This game has been absolutely wild and I hope it continues!

Joey told me his version of what went down and knows he and Jenn are definitely on the outs but he also just told me "I will fight and I will fight dirty if thats what it means." I feel bad for him because he SERIOUSLY WANTED TO GET KILBY OUT and then got left in the dust when it actually happened lmao
Gibson played that so brilliantly. That was fucking GREAT. I am 100% here for Dustin/Jayden getting split up. And I really hope Joey/Jenn can make something happen. Its way too early in the round to count them out (looking @ you SAM) Yall know any damn thing can happen.
