One year, seven months, four days.
One hundred castaways.
Four winners.
A worldwide community like no other.
And now, for the last time until 2018 - we're back.
Here we stand amidst the airy base of the vast Okanagan Lake. Notable for its ancient myth of the slimy serpentine beast, Ogopogo, this lake, nestled between over fifteen municipalities of the greater Okanagan Valley will serve as the launching point for our season. At its height of culture over 3000 years ago, Okanagan was run by the great Syilx people - this strong native familial history will feature as the center point of Endure this season as we launch ourselves smack in the middle of this fruitful and wild climate.
And it's here that twenty four of the most legendary castaways of all time will attempt to make their mark on the Endure series.
Sixteen newcomers, each from different communities coming to stake their claim.
Eight returnees.
Some seeking redemption, others looking to reclaim their throne.
Tonight 24 castaways embark on a journey that will tie them together forever. Building upon the foundation that has been left from past seasons.
“I will definitely not be afraid to turn on an alliance if the time comes. “My surface level look doesn’t really match the personality. I’m super calm, really relaxed and easy going, almost to the point of an older elderly person.”
“It’’s going to take work on my end to not be so stubborn about doing things that need to be done.”
“Being face to face with the person that I am lying directly to, to get something out of it that I want for my own benefit, I have no problem with.”
Friendships will be made that will last the tests of time and transcend beyond online boundaries. Rivals will rise to battle until there is only one left.
“Once I start to get a little taste of something I get a little too much I’m not a villain when I play games, but I’m not nice either.”
“I don’t play by the rules, I play by the rules that I create for myself.”
“I need to take more risks and be a little more adventurous…. Taking chances and not going with the flow… I need to get a little more ballsy with making decisions and with making and or breaking agreements with people.”
All will create their legacy and leave their mark on the Endure brand, but the acclaimed Endure winner circle only has one seat open for one who personifies the qualities and characteristics it takes to be champion.
