The consensus around confessionals is "you don't talk to Sean, Sean talks to you and you listen"; ergo Sean is playing very hard and very one-sided, and honestly he's been able to thus far. He's going to have to majorly shake up the status quo and listen a bit more if he's going to survive the way this swap played out. Scully continues to hype Sean's aura of being a threat to Kate and Kate agrees. The only way I see Sean making it out unscathed is if Haida goes on a streak until merge. I think they could do it, but I wonder if there's going to be some loved-one convincing to throw.

You can't discount Sam's complete infatuation with Sean though, in real life they are VERY close, and up until like last round with the Vicario joint confessional Sam kept bringing up in every confessional she couldn't wait to talk to Sean and get his side of the story. I think if Sean plays into that and kinda makes himself the victim (without over-doing it) he could reel Sam right in. If someone with the social grace of Corey was able to use Sam's friendship/feelings to keep him around over the smarter choice (Zoie), I can see someone who is very socially aware, and intelligent like Sean being able to pull it off.

The second that Sam and Sean swapped onto a tribe Sam was like "Sean when can you talk we need to talk"

so yeah, I have a very hard time thinking that she won't change things around to try and help him out and save him

There's already been heavy discussion regarding taking Sean out without Sam being a part of the plan. It's already out there how in love they are with each other, and people are aware that Sean needs to go in order to get Sam back.

Nick made a potentially horrible mistake telling Scully he has the idol. Scully has already informed Vic -- and sooner rather than later loose lips sink ships. This concerns me a little bit for Nick but hopefully he can work it out.

If I were scully or Vic there would be no way that I would want another pair getting separated as you don't know if any more ties that bind round are coming next or not and there are only 4 pairs left including their own. Because of this reason I feel like keeping Chris and Corey for time being safe is a necessity at this stage.

Nick also said Miller told him the password, right? So it could literally sink both.

I'll take that over a leaked confessional. Those damn DeMotts!

Kate has told Scully about Miller's idol even though Miller asked her not to.

Miller passed Kate his idol today to prove he had it and then she passed it back to him.

Miller is skeptical of Kate but still trusts her 100%.

Scully has told Vic that Kate and Miller are secretly close.

Kate does want to keep Miller safe but they are going to have to do some heavy planning in order to keep him in the game at this point. Winning immunity will buy them some time.

Kate has also told Scully that Nick has an idol. Scully thinks that Sean has the 3rd idol and is dead set that there are 3 idols in the game. He is pushing Kate HARD to expose that she and Miller are close and thinks this is the only way that Miller won't be the next Target.

Scully and Vic want Sean out before merge. (I know Miller will not vote for Sean, he trusts Sean more than he probably should but he won't vote for him.)

Kate has told Sam about how close she is with Miller and she plans on telling Sam that Miller has the immunity idol later tonight.

Sam and Sean have been close in the past. If Sam tells Sean about Miller's idol, Sean will know Miller lied to his face and Miller's fate might be sealed in the game. I am not sure if this will play out this way though since Vic and Scully seem to be set on getting Sean out pre-merge. Scully mentioned that Sean is playing the opposite of how he played season 2 (I agree) and that Sean really should have stuck to his season 2 strategy because shutting up in this game seems to be the way to go.

Have Kate/Scully finally:

a) Had it with Scott, realize that he plays all sides, has some holes in his game that could be perceived as a threat, therefore he is now on the chopping block for Haida 3.0

OR

b) Will ignore this fact, Scott continues to graze by seen as a strategic move to keep a perceived weaker player -- allowing Scott to outlast Kate and Scully allowing him to have the last laugh when it's all said and done because they've been dancing around this fact (Kate in particular) and are waiting too long to take a shot, especially when these two are one of the four final couples in the game and if they make merge they need as many big players to shield them from being logical threats.

I... unfortunately agree. I think telling Kate is fine if Scully isn't around. Scully only looks out for his best interests, whereas Kate looks out for everyone's. She's going to find herself in a tough situation very soon, and the potential of losing Nick's trust early is a sign of the rough tides to come.

I miss Jenna :(

I'm invoking the production birthday power which allows me to bring Jenna back. It's weird that we've had that in the prod rules for 5 seasons and it never came into play till now... :)
