okay I'm giving up on watching but

Corey and Scott: I recently have played with both, and they're both interesting to play with on their own. Together, however, they are a hot mess. Just watching them interact makes me tired tbh. I don't know how they're going to function in this game

side note: as of the start of the game, Corey and Ruben/Lexi are all still in Powerhouse together (wrong choice ;) )so that might have an impact on this game!

Sean and Razek: I LOVE THEM SO MUCH (not as much at the DeMotts) but we've met a few times and they are both truly lovable people from th get-go. Sean is going to have a whole new strategy this time, and as the only previous winner, he's going to have a target on his back. I'm a little nervous about how far he'll get, but even if he is an early boot, I think Razek has a good shot.

AS FOR TRIBES

Chris and Sean have some tension (according to Ashlee it's from the Pressure Cooker) but Chris was invited to our meetups with sean/razek/anthony and always BAILED (probably because of Sean) and Sean isn't exactly a fan of him either.
I think Jenna can kill it on this tribe, tbh. So can Momma Miller

I can see Sekani being a Gwale or a Malaita tbh (gotta have a s2 ref in every post). They can either do really well together or be a complete shitshow. I feel like there's really no in between for them.

Haida is a very interesting mix of people, so I'm hoping they do well! Like Tagish, there are some dominating/alpha male personalities, and I hope they don't clash.
They're definitely my personal fave, with Tagish right behind!

These tribes are honestly killer, though.

casey gave birth to me and then she flopped in endure so she'll probably do well

The best part about this cast is RJ.

So just a little bit of self-assessment on what I'm seeing thus far, I'll probably write up a small blurb about everyone today before the game launches as well but:

In meet me videos, everyone has kind of started off the same. Name/age/location, what they do, some interests. Ruben jumps STRAIGHT into talking about how he's from season 2 and he flopped and wants to play a different game and enjoy it yadda yadda yadda. It doesn't sound sincere whatsoever. I'm cutting most of it out because the general tone of the meet me video is pretty generic and everyone deserves a fair shake, but this video just seems SO fake. Someone like Brian Scully who talked about some pretty strong views in his video (girls > guys, etc -- of which I cut out because Scully is fantastic and it's hard to fit everything I love about him already into a minute and a half), at least you can tell he's very genuine about what he says. I think Ruben is very driven by the fact he can improve his placement and rectify his first go-around in Endure that he's going to miss the point and find himself fucked.

Okay, finally here with some thoughts.
Jesse & Jared – I love both of them, they are two of my closest friends and they are incredible players. I am a little concerned with how involved Jared is going to get because during CYS: Legends he basically told me he was done with ORG's, that he didn't want to play, he was over them, he barely even wanted to do stuff for the scavenger hunt and such. Knowing Jared I doubt that he would apply to something not meaning to play, but I honestly foresee him being a lot more catering to Jesse's game than to play hard-ball like he usually does. In reality I think his objective in this game is going to be to help Jesse finally win, which is fine and fair, but I hope that doesn't mean we get a watered down version of Jared. I honestly think Jared is going to go far, I think Jesse either makes it to the final 6 or is out within the first few rounds.

Ruben & Lexi – I was a big Ruben fan back in Endure2. I am excited to see him back, especially knowing he has had a lot more experience with ORG's because I do feel that a huge underdoing for him was how little he knew of games (and being shady, but every game needs a good villain so whatever). Lexi seems nice enough, nothing too exciting though. But I am kinda looking forward to seeing how they develop and interact.

Brian & Jenna – Basically perfection. Period.

Chris & Holli – I wasn't a huge Chris fan last season to be absolutely honest, but by the end he was pretty alright. Like, he is definitely a decent player but I don't know, for some reason I just don't feel it. I enjoyed his interview a lot though? Holli seems nice enough too, she's cute, and I can see her being a total social butterfly if she manages to adapt to skype and the forums and everything quickly, otherwise she might be overwhelmed and then bye.

Miller & Lisa – They are so close, and it's SO endearing. I am PRAYING that Lisa is not overwhelmed by the game and the forums. Their relationship is amazing, and I want to see them be able to play together so much. I don't know how good Miller's chances are if people paid attention last season (big threat!) but I hope that he can stick around cause I am a huge Miller fan. I am totally team #TheMillers. Also, “we have mother, daughter SPA day” <3

Kate & Brian – KATE IS A ZOO-KEEPER! That's my dream job, omg. Brian seems like such a douche, but not in the fun way either. I like the story about writing and meeting through each other's writing really. I liked the term “emotionally seductive” though, it's a very interesting and unique quality, it seems, I think she acts nicer than she is, tbh. I feel like she is gonna be cutthroat and act nice, while he is gonna be cutthroat and own it.

Zac & Zoie – I literally loved these two, the way they bounced off each other, and how much they build each other up and talk so highly off each other is just absolutely amazing and endearing. They are inexperienced players but they seem like likable and like they could quickly get into the game. I am super psyched for this duo, out of the ones of people I don't know they are by far my favorite. I get such a good vibe from them.

Scott & Corey – I don't know why people say Corey is loyal cause the one time I played with him he backstabbed me for absolutely no reason. Maybe he has changed though. Either way, I am not a huge fan, the fact he has so much anger and will flip out on people kinda makes me uncomfortable and it doesn't usually bode well for him, does it? I don't think he would do too good cause he has a bad rep, mostly, but maybe if people think he is a loyal player they'll grab him and run with it? Scott... I don't know man, he IS nice, but he is so needy socially, that it becomes over-socializing and he can be hugely overwhelming, which I hope he can tone down for this game because with a cast as stellar as this being perceived as annoying could be enough to be the first one gone.

Tyler & Casey – I watched them in CYS and I was a huge Tyler fan but I wasn't huge on Casey. I love their relationship though, it's so adorable, and it makes me happy to see people who meet in ORG's in a real life relationship. I don't know how well they are going to do at all though because they both have kinda out-there personalities so I can see them annoying their tribes if they don't tone it down.

Sean & Razek – LOVE Sean and Razek, SO much. They are amazing human beings, Sean is an outstanding player, and even though Razek has never played I think he is gonna do good because he is that quiet, good listener type, and he always has great input. As a former winner I think Sean will be in trouble quickly, and if he doesn't show up and prove his worth he might be out earlier than he should be, then again he IS incredibly charming so I am PRAYING that he can things well. Razek I feel will make it far if he can figure out the forums, skype, and get invested, he could literally pull a Sean and win after a perfect UTR game.

I can't figure out what pair I am missing, but I am sure they are legit too if they were chosen.

So psyched for this season!
