Seems Miller and Nick aren't as locked on to the pairs as they're making out to be.

Quack Pact on call.
Nick: "Sean's gonna go, no matter what... but he's gonna stir up some trouble."
Nick: "You may wanna play the idol... I think they're gonna try to split the vote on you."
I really hope Sean doesn't go. He's an easy target for sure, but it's going to increase the odds of the dull narrative of the 6 on 5. Nick and Miller are speaking as if all of them (the duos) are super tight and they're (Quack Pact) the underdogs in this fight. If this is the case, why wouldn't they try to read the vote and play an idol to level up the playing field 5 on 5?
I hope they come to this conclusion. Scully and Kate may know about their idols, but they have to get them out of power before they get them out.

Sam's not gonna fight to keep Sean, but she's pissed that Sean is the vote. From her confessional it doesn't sound like Miller's name has been discussed at all. Miller has let Kate keep the hidden immunity idol. Nick and Miller are misted by Kate/Scully.
Like. Literally. What? I don't get why everyone is conceding to what I see as an obvious six. Miller and Nick are gonna look like fools soon unless they can turn this around and take one of the six out -- preferably a Morgan since Kate/Scully and the Vicario's are the biggest targets out of the merge. No offense to the Morgan's, but they're just not the huge perceived threats.

Vicario's and Morgan's on call. It sounds like they're looking to make a move on Scully and Kate within the next few rounds. At this point they're aware that it's not smart to jump on them at this point to force a 5 on 5. This begins by Sam being super upset about Scully spearheading the Sean vote -- more insight is in her latest confessional.
Sam talking about how she cannot write Sean's name down.

Vic's plan:
Once Holli and Jesse go "next" -- final 8 they're gonna make a move and knock out either Kate or Scully.
Ergo, Jesse/Holli/Sean are all sitting ducks... maybe.
Sam thinks it would be fantastic to vote out Nick next.

Maybe Vic/Scully aren't a close tandem like I thought... I can only hope something comes to fruition sooner rather than later that blows up the six working together to give Jesse and Holli a fighting chance.

Vicario's and Morgan's talking about what the inside joke/narrative of the entire season is. Sam thinks it may be her incompetence at challenges.
Sam doesn't appreciate the holy spirit of this season, the torch bearer, the instant classic.

Hi irrelevant PW with my first post of the season I think! But just curious how this would work? If Vic's hypothetical plan here works, the best he has at F8 is a tie because I don't see Miller/Nick turning on Kate and Scully AND both would still have idols that could turn a tie into one of the Vicarios getting blindsided. I may be missing a lot but based on what I read, I don't see how this plan would work.

Hey iceman! Big fan.
Honestly, I'm not sure what their idea behind this is. From my understanding the Vicario's operate under the assumption that Scully/Kate believe that the Vicario's are their true & tested #1 allies which makes sense because of Sam/Kate, Scully/Vic working together for the entirety of the game.
This makes sense for the Vicario's to believe as I think Kate and Scully are buying that right now. Scully dictated the upcoming Sean vote and everyone is going along with it. Scully has a solid relationship with Vic so I think he feels like he's sitting pretty.
In the event of a tie at tribal, no idols can be played on a revote. Their plan is to lead Kate/Scully on until the vote, execute the vote 4-4, and force Nick and Miller's hand because they think that they wouldn't go to revote for Kate/Scully.
I don't know how well this vote is going to work or if it'll even come to fruition. I see their logic but there's a lot of assumption and luck involved with it.

Ahhhh ok makes sense. I didn't even think about that but yeah I could see Miller going to rocks but probably not Nick in that scenario. What the Vicarios could try to do just to be sure is they could attempt to convince Kate and Scully that this is the round for all 6 of them to team up and take out one of Nick or Miller, essentially getting the two of them to throw their votes and blindsiding Kate or Scully 4-2-2. The problem with this is Kate seems very unlikely to turn on Nick or Miller before turning on the Morgans. Another problem would be a lot of extra blood on their hands if they use that plan and it works. Idk what the right call would be but it seems sloppy to let the tie be forced and just rely on Nick/Miller to cave when they would probably imagine they'll just follow Scully/Kate in fifth and sixth. Obviously a lot could change too between then and now.
Talking in a lot of hypotheticals here but this plan interests me. Having just recently done something like that in a game, I think the plan Vic is trying to be set up has so many different ways to take it. Kinda want to see how it plays out if we actually get to an F8 where this scenario is possible.
