So based on the confessional Nick posted a little bit ago Miller has kept posting and left out the part that he has been out for about an hour now. They also both checked Kate's posts to see they haven't changed which I'm guessing was a plan Miller and Kate came up with to throw Nick off. Nick is still posting as of right now but will he make the fatal mistake of his entire game and throw this challenge to Miller? I can see him doing it because he has no reason to believe Miller wouldn't take him to the end as his fellow Quack Pact ally.
I really hope Nick doesn't do what TJ did in S3. After 10 hours, Tommy messed up, and then convinced TJ that he was taking him to the end, TJ then dropped and let TOmmy have the win. Tommy then took Jake to the F2. I hope Nick tries for most of the day. I want him to win so bad!
All three of these would be good winners, but I'm rooting for a Demott win (even though it'd be kinda funny if he and anthony got the same initial placement)
Honestly, the person who I wish to see fall short of the finals is Miller. I completely understand taking Kate to the finals, day 1 ally, genuine friendship. I get it. It's what I would do. What I wouldn't do is give my game to someone and not try to convince the jurors that I deserve to win. After putting in so much time and energy, to just fall flat and give up would really suck.
I'm wondering if this is Miller's self-reflection and if he's in his head that he cannot convince the jurors and that he is known for the debauchery of the Palmyra FTC. He hasn't played a bad game. If he makes the finals twice it's because he deserves it. What he doesn't deserve is to sell himself short. If Kate were to beat him, it should be a fair fight.
With that being said, I think Miller winds up in the finals either way. What I really want to see though is Nick vs Kate. The heat seeker vs the dark horse.
Kate's been the front runner for the win since the beginning of the merge and everyone in the game knows it; despite that she's made it to this point. Corey bringing up that Nick has played an incredible UTR game may have awaken a jury that is beginning to realize the same thing. Coming from a point where he was seen as a tag-along, to realizing what the viewers have known the entire time, I think the perfect narrative would see if Nick could ride that final hour momentum to a win, or if it isn't enough to dethrone Kate.
I don't want a Nick/Miller f2 or a Miller/Kate f2 :/.
So I'm nearing my 7th completed hour of hanging on. I think I'm gonna shoot for somewhere around 9 hours--then I can humbly step down and allow Miller to take the final immunity. (And presumably I will take the silver.)
Miller has kept up posting since his fuck up 8 1/2 hours ago and has actively led Nick to believe on call that he never messed up so that Nick thinks he has to beat 18 hours (and counting) and not 10. He also firmly believes that Miller will take him to the end because Kate has been the number one jury threat in the game for a while.
To catch Miller in this lie, Nick would have to know:
1) Miller is willing to hand the game to Kate.
2) Miller is willing to hand the game so much that he would take her to the end over Nick, who is one of his best friends in the game.
3) Miller is willing to hand the game to Kate over one of his best friends so much, that he is willing to manipulate said best friend into dropping before he reaches the attainable mark that he set.
4) Miller is willing to manipulate one of his best friends in the game to get him to drop so he can hand the game to somebody else so much, that he has continued to post fruitlessly for the past 8 hours.
Basically Miller couldn't go through this finale without actively demonstrating all the reasons why he would never win in a FTC.
