I want to see my season 2 kids do well, but I'm here for Brian and Jenna. They are honestly amazing people and so much fun to hang out with. You should totally check out Jenna's blog and/or her STUNNING pics she regularly posts on social media. Jenna is used to hanging out with the gays, but she isn't going to put up with any bullshit that's sexist/racist/immature which depending on the cast can seep into an online game. I hope she likes playing this game and allows herself to become immersed in the experience.
Ok y'all Fei your resident *STAR* PW is here to offer her thoughts:
The Vicarios: They are so unintentionally hysterical. I love Vic's dry humor but I'm not sure how well that translates into the online environment. I sorta feel like Vic will be a super gamebotty strategist who is just sorta blissfully unaware. Sam, on the other hand, I think is really savvy but hides it well under a strong social game. I think as a pair, therefore, that they could be really strong. I do think that Sam's strong social game coupled with perceptions of Vic strategizing might lead them to an earlier exit then we all hope.
Jared and Jesse: This might be an unpopular opinion but I wasn't exactly feeling them. Sure, Jared and I had a tiny bit of a rocky past with iS that's coloring my perceptions but I don't enjoy players with an "overdog" story. I feel like both Jared and Jesse are BIG overdogs and that just makes them not compelling. If its true that they don't have many connections in the game that might change how I feel 'cause a little struggle is always fun to watch. Unlike the Vicarios, I think Jared and Jesse would be stronger apart than as a pair. So, in order for one to do well I think the other needs to get cut loose early on. Without knowing the structure of the game though its hard to tell.
Nick and Anthony: I feel like Nick is going to be someone I irrationally love (a la Tommy Ip) throughout the season. I fucking loved how soft-spoken he was and his comment about being an old-man. With regard to Anthony I'm not sure--I never really paid attention to him during his season and when I did I was always kinda bothered by the fact that he was CONSTANTLY moving around and doing shit from his phone. Like fuck, why can't you be sedintary like the rest of us? You got places to be? Anyway, I think they'll be a good pair and also fairly strong alone, but they'll need to fall in with a good majority early-on.
Lexi and Ruben: Feeling sorta lukewarm about them which likely means they will both do well. I can sorta see Lexi dragging Ruben along while Ruben thinks he's running the show. I could honestly see them ending up on opposite sides of the game, unwilling to compromise their position, which would be funny to watch. We'll see.
Brian and Jenna: THE WOJANS! Complete undying love for them both. They are both charismatic and ought to find themselves in majorities early on and I think will be brought with a lot of options throughout the game, just based on being likable. I worry a bit about Jenna not taking the game as seriously as others and people getting upset when they can't count on her. For example, one time I was playing mafia with them and Jenna kept voting so we no-killed every night!! Granted she was black-out drunk but still it was annoying. Brian I think is more forthcoming when he's not gonna go with the flow so I don't think he gets as much heat for it. I think they are a strong pair, but Jenna is more likely to help Brian's game then Brian is to help Jenna's. And, I can totally attest to the bad-driver thing...I was in the car for the "You got dis" fiasco.
I love a lot of this cast and I haven't made my opinions apparent yet, but Kate Donovan is my everything and I am so excited for her to play and hopefully go far <3. I was blown away by her and Brian's interview. Brian and Kate compliment each other's personalities so well and they're so opposite that they go perfectly together. I can see both excelling at this game for different reasons.
thoughts on the tribes so far!! jared is on a great tribe for him! i think he will get along with the jenna i think it is well. He also will bond with Miller's mom! That tribe is perfect for Jared.
I am very excited about brian and katie! They will be amazing! they had an amazing interview. I think they balance eachother well. I think being exs might help them because its not like they are gonna be worried about their relationship. They can look more objectively at the game. I predict Katie goes far perhaps middle jury or final 5. I can see brian being early merge.
i hope miller doesnt pull an amanda kimmel 2.0.

Miller and Lisa: Oh fer cute! I honestly love them but think that Lisa will defer to Miller on a lot of things which will be to her detriment. I see now that they are on different initial tribes which I think will get them through the initial stage but I honestly think Lisa will defect to whatever Miller says, even if she's ultimately in a better position than he is. They will throw their games away from one another which is endearing but in another way frustrating. They will be adorbs to watch though.
Brian and Kate: Sheesh. They have a LOT of story don't they? I can see them having a similar tumultuous story arc here. They both will secure their own alliances early on, meet up, try to bring them together and fail, and then ultimately come back together again. I do think that while their dynamic together is interesting, it doesn't really help either one of their individual games, since they probably play very differently. I am liking Katie a lot more than Brian and honestly think she's got a better vibe with her initial tribe than Brian does. I can picture Brian talking over the others and frustrating them.
The Millers. They have an interesting dynamic but ultimately I don't see them going deep into the game together. I think Lisa could be the type of person who gets taken far just because she has no idea what's actually going on. Anything she knows about Endure/skype/boards is from her son and he's across the world from her right now so wont be much help. I think Miller won't get as lucky this go around and we'll see him out early.
Kate and Brian were one of my favorite interviews of the season. They have so much history and this interesting relationship that it's fun to watch. They will be the pair that I don't think will stick together. I think they'll both do their own thing and not stress about the other because they have a healthy amount of competition between them. I see Kate going farther than Brian though because she has the more social personality.
I haven't had a chance to watch all the TL;DWS yet (thanks Stephen for posting those!) since I have been really busy the past three days, BUT I am loving what I have read so far about the castaways.
And more importantly I am here to show my absolute support and adoration for two of the best human beings I know, the Wojans, when I saw this was BLOOD VS WATER I told Sam he needed to try and get Brian/Jenna to play because they are SO fantastic and their sibling relationship is my absolute favorite. AND they are here, and I don't know if they applied or were scouted but I am just beyond happy to be a complete #WojanFanBoy this entire season <3
