If you're going to be a big power player, you need the numbers to protect you. I think Sean started his game style too early and didn't spend the time to first ensure he was covered and that's gonna cost him.

the boys club targeting Sam is MAJOR yikes, but idk how realistic that possibility is? Kate is already aware of this alliance and I sorta doubt she'd be okay with just letting them take power and vote out the girls if she can do something about it, and Sam said she was going to spend most of her time getting Scott close with her and trusting her, so when it comes down to it I think I could see this backfiring on Ruben pretty hard for playing it emotionally after Lexi's blindside.

If I was Kate, I would definitely consider using this info as leverage to get one of those four out. It's going to be hard to convince her to go along with their plans when she knows that Ruben didn't want to tell Kate about the twist.

I don't think Ruben did anything wrong. Maybe acting so openly sketched out by Kate? His misread on the tribe connections? IDK! Sam is focused on Jesse target wise, so Ruben might be okay. He's basically at the mercy of Kate right now and I don't think he knows it.

I think the only thing Ruben really did wrong in that aspect is that even if he wanted to tell the four guys and set something up, it was handled wrong, those four plus kate were the only ones on call, and they all have to go at the same time? why not tell them one at a time? and then work out a group. It was the timing that I think was sketchy on Ruben's part.

i don't know if this was just her ~theory but kate seems to think Vic taking out Lexi may have fueled Ruben to want to go after Sam in retaliation.

Ya I don't think targeting Sam is gonna work because Kate is close with Sam, hOlli while she isn't as close with Sam she isn't going to want to vote out a girl. Nick won't vote out Sam. Nick is close with Kate as well. So as long as Sam doesn't really go for Jesse I think they could have holli as a number.

Sam is very protected. I kinda feel bad for Ruben (I know I'm not his biggest fan) because he does come into this with a known reputation and that's hard to shake. Even Miller who is his I guess his closest ally has better ties with ppl than he does. That's just what it seems like. The best thing Ruben could do is hope they gwale it and and give the game time so someone else can be exposed and he can just lay low. He was good in s2 and able to just be friends with ppl and keeping his scheming quiet until he got out
