Make some tacos, chug some wine from the bottle, and freshen up on your knowledge of mitochondria, we've got our favourite snapback wearing, (soon to be) biology teaching dudebro with us! Anthony joins myself and RJ to talk about the leading hours up to his surprising 19th place exit, his time spent on the Haida tribe, and makes RJ swoon over the love he has for his brother. Stick around for a special video question by someone Anthony knows quite well that leaves Anthony in stitches. "My Manthony" (- Samm's friend, 2015) joins us far too soon, but he leaves the game the way he entered: humble, and light-hearted. Check it out!
Wanna know who wins Okanagan? This super foolproof, super accurate, super up-to-date simulator determines the only two possible winners of this season (that's right, a BrantSteele so nice we ran the simulator twice!) This was done at the final 18 round, it just wasn't uploaded until now because I put the pro in procrastination.
Ashlee Smith ~ Mom RJ Diggity ~ 9th place, Solomon Islands Stephen Loughridge ~ 6th place, Solomon Islands Jacob Harpel/Robert Goulet ~ 4th place, Solomon Islands Jen Crowther ~ Winner, Palmyra
We out here fam! In this episode we have another exit interview! As per usual, Zoie Quinn continues to be a literal angel. I don't even know how else to sell this episode other than Zoie is literally an angel. I could always bring up how she talks about her time in the game, touches on her favourite moments, and why a new concept like ORGs was a ton of fun. Honestly though, just watch this because she's a literal angel and a joy to talk to.
It's poppin! It's poppin! In this episode, Brian Wojan continues to be one of the most pleasant people I have ever met. Brian journeys through his time in the game -- the highs and lows -- and continues to prove that he will always beat to his own drum and carry a fighting spirit. For single-children: If you've ever wanted to have a sister and are extremely jealous of people who do, don't watch this episode. Brian talks about the importance of playing with Jenna, as well as how this game has reaffirmed what he discovered about himself through playing Palmyra! Idk what else to say I love Lil' Wo.
Awwww shiiiit, time for a Chaos Casey exit interview!
Ginger Jesus joins myself and a potentially about-to-die RJ and shoots the breeze about her time back into the Endure ring. Casey talks in-depth about her side of the story that wasn't shared in the game, as well as offers some choice words for some certain people from Tagish 3.0. Casey, as always, is an absolute gem to talk to. No ifs, ands, or butts about it.
Finally! It's been long overdue, because I procrastinated, but it's here! Jenna and I talk down while I'm somewhat intoxicated to talk about her time in the game, the bond her and her brother shares, and ultimately why this game was so much fun for her. RJ makes a brief appearance at the beginning before his internet craps out so if you're watching to admire RJ's smooth silky complexion from afar, this isn't the episode for you. Alternatively, if you want to hear from one of the all-time Endure fan favourites share more Brian Wojan stories, you've come to the right place!
Lisa Miller ~ 20th Place
Anthony DeMott ~ 19th Place
Jenna Wojan ~ 17th Place
Casey Abel ~ 14th Place
Brian Wojan ~ 13th Place
Chris LeCompte ~ 12th Place Your favourite flops are back! The true final 6 of Endure: Okanagan sit down to discuss their demise and their dreams for the future of this game. Wanna see how they reacted to Scully's elimination from the game when it was happening LIVE? Look no further. Later on in the episode, I hand the hosting over to Casey as she hosts "12 Archetypes" -- or as Chris calls it "12 Archaeology Types". Sgo and stuff.
In this episode, RJ and I guest appear on the Brian Scully show. This shouldn't come as a surprise tn anyone. Scully thoroughly dissects his game in his typical entertaining manner -- vodka tonic in hand. I know what you may be asking yourself? Is Spaceship gonna make an appearance? Is he going to talk about the Vicario's and his dramatic exit? Is he going to keep that CPN tone up even in an exit interview? Probably not, but you'll never know unless you watch!
Sgoooooooooooooooo! Jen and I sit down and have a NOICE interview with our favourite Maryland dudebro who barely missed out on giving us the pleasure of sharing his beautiful merge facepaint with the world! No ifs, ands, buts, or guts -- Chris talks about how he was able to refine his game in his second go-around, reflects upon his game, and ultimately comes to a conclusion as to why he was taken out. Does Chris think if he made merge that he would have gone the distance? Odds are fairly high that he says yes, but there's only one way to find out! My absolute favourite part of the interview is non-game related; listen to how the world of online reality games has given Chris perspective and helped him change his viewpoint on some aspects of his life! Click that play button buds!
Get those fists lubed, locked, and loaded! Scott's here and he's bringing his bubbly, overly talkative personality with him! If you've ever wanted to see me eat chicken tenders, this is the episode. Scott reflects on his time in the game, the insanity that was the early merge, playing with his brother, and what online reality games has taught him about himself! Scott talks, and talks, and talks as per usual -- but every word is worth every second. If you're looking for a daily pick-me-up, listening to Scott will definitely help you out!
If I were you, I'd wanna be Sam too! Jen joins me in having the pleasure to talk to one of my absolute favourite people from this season. Sam narrates the rise and fall of her game, from the shocking Scully blindside, to her own end. Everything is covered, including the crucial pre-merge rounds where she was able to assume control and seal certain peoples' fates. Sam discusses how much playing with her brother has meant to her, and again makes me wish I had a rad sibling. From Season 1 to Season 5, Sam has been embedded in Endure lore, and she exudes the same love and spirit for the experience as she did a year and a half ago! How else can I tell you that this is a fantastic interview? I can't! Watch it, dummy!
The prince is here! I feel super left out as I am in the presence two members of the Endure Winners' Circle. Jen joins me in having the great pleasure to talk to the winner of Season 2, and all around great guy and storyteller Sean! Also in this interview are: Buddy the dog (making his Endure debut!), Harley the cat, Bullseye, and the fox from The Little Prince. Sean discusses the drastic changes in his game this time around, his opinions on Razek's gameplay, whether Razek leaving early helped or hurt him, who brought his head back into the game once it seemed like he was on the edge of no return, and how Endure has changed since he last played. I could sell so many more points to this interview, but it's literally Sean Faulk talking for ~40 minutes, so you know it's gonna be good.
