Scott, Nick, Jesse, Sam, Ruben, Kate on call playing a game -- Town of Salem maybe? |
Probably Saboteur, Ruben and Jesse have both gotten into it recently, I've played with each of them independently of each other. I could see them playing it now with their tribe ahaha

idk they were talking about ice cream and apple pie and then Jesse started talking like he's Queen fuckin Elizabeth so I NOPED and muted.
I love Jesse already -- he's such a great character and a true socialite, but NOPE.

Time For Tyler's Opinion™
Tagish - Zac right now is my fav on this tribe. It seems like he's really playing hard off the bat though and that worries me, I don't want him to crash and burn early in the game! He just needs to calm it down a little and I think he'll be fine. He's got a great exchange of info going on with Zoie though! Sean being an early target is something I was expecting. He's the only winner that returned! Nobody is going to want to let him win again and take their chance at the title away. I hope he can power through this early hurdle though because I think people will become less concerned about the past once they get a feel of the game's dynamics a bit better.
Sekani - Currently my favourite tribe! #1: they're green. #2: they go on group calls with each other. Solomon Islands called, they want their Gwale tribe back!! Just Kidding but honestly I think the amount of bonding that these guys are doing with each other is promising and could allow the tribe to really be cooperative in these challenges! The people who aren't as active on these calls will need to hustle though or they might find themselves easy boots. Jesse, Kate and Holli are my standouts right now though!
Haida - Brian Scully is the standout for me right now!! I'm excited to see how he'll approach this game now, from his confessional that I watched before work I don't get as much of the villainous vibe as I did watching his interview, but we'll see! I think he's got potential to become a really well-rounded character in this game! Zoie is also someone I'm rooting for, I live for the Zac/Zoie convo updates because they're the perfect blend of ott gameplay and random conversation which I find super entertaining. | THE HOLY TRINITY

Ok that doesn't sound like Saboteur (although that does sound like Jesse)

This is a quick screen grab from the call between Zac/Zoie this morning. Zac had yet to go on call with anyone at the time of this call but he did his homework! I love the color coded notes, there were several pages but this is the only grab I could get. He is showing Zoie their "core" people to possibly work with and "meh" written next to people Zac isn't too concerned about working with. This is all based on his and Zoie's pre-planned strategy which they may be altering.

I think my ideal boot from each of the tribes right now would be..
Tagish: Lisa
Sekani: Miller or Scott
Haida: Probably Razek?

I agree completely Sam, except I'm thinking Nick may be in the mix for first boot potential on Sekani.
Second night in a row that Sekani tribe is all on call together. I love this tribe. I'm hoping they can win a few rounds and stay together.

Another great night of calls.
Sekani is definitely the "gwale" of tribes being constantly on a tribe call. The main group there consists of Holli/Kate/Jesse/Scott - they seem to find Nick a bit dull. Some discussion about how there's been a lack of connection to Ruben and Miller, they're already off playing their own games, not really remembering the initial "meet the tribe" part of the game.
Holli and Chris just had an hour call breaking down each tribe. Chris seems to realize that Corey is currently holding a lot of power, but really has taken Zac out of the equation. I'm interested to see where Tagish ends up.

Flying during premiere night is NOT the way to start the season premiere, but alas I am here to catch up on everything, also I feel like a complete moron for not realizing the way tribes were split is so 4 people from each tribe have a connection with people from each tribe. Wow. That makes sense tho.
Tagish - I am sad to see Sean targeting Jared/Jenna right off the bat because I really wanted the three of them to be a thing. Mostly cause I personally love all of them, and then they would be SO hilarious.
Corey blaming his social anxiety on Jenna after hearing she asked Jared about him/Sean being together on call after seems VERY convenient (also why would Jared ever throw Jenna under the bus so quick?). The fact that they (Sean/Corey are trying to divide the tribe so quickly after like 24 hours and willing to go to rocks (from what Corey said) is ridiculous to me. You barely know people!
I like Zac a lot and his comparison to doduo, how precious. In reality though I think he is one of the more solid positions, I love the dilemma with pissing people off who's loved ones are with Zoie, and then his rooming situation with Miller, and just... so much going on for him. But I enjoy that he is trying to play a strategic game from the go and is considering Zoie as well.
Where does Tyler stand on this whole thing?
Sekani - Kate is adorable, such a contrast to Scully (more on him later), I am very excited to see her jump from alias to open ID. I love how she is slowly but surely figuring things out. Also, unlike the other pairs her partner Scully is already willing to target her which is not good news, but I honestly think she is so cute and nice that she is gonna be fine.
Nick's grating already, I don't like the negativity right off the bat, his unwillingness to actually give people a chance. I feel like he is trying to be funny, but it just comes across as annoying tbh. On the other hand Scott seems to be doing a lot better than expected though I wonder if his constant talking will eventually grate the others if he is not socially aware, glad to see that he is doing good so far though.
In yuxtaposition of them is Sam who so far is the only who seems to be talking about her loved one and cementing a path for them further down the line. Who to work with, who is good for their combined game and so in, it's an interesting approach. Very different than the way other people in the tribe are doing their own thing, really.
Finally, on the others who have yet to confess... Holli seems to be in a good position, as does Jesse who socially is excelling, though his connection with Jared is already making him a slight target. Ruben seems to be on the outs immediately, being shady, flashbacks from Season 2? I was a huge Ruben fan back on 2 but I'm not sure if he has really learned much to play differently this time?
Haida - You can tell Scully really thinks highly of himself, but quite frankly he might have a reason to be. I am enjoying his insight, and I love that he would rather go against a big threat than a goat, it shows confidence and I respect that a lot. I like his relationship with Brian Wojan and how he sees himself in him and wants to help him continue coming out of his shell, ugh I love Brian Wojan so much, he is so precious and I think he is gonna do amazing, there is no way anyone will NOT love it.
Vic I love you. That beard doe >>>
I like how he is playing so far, I think he is gonna be fine with this tribe, though I wish he had spoken about Razek considering that Sam said they are sticking together? I wanna know how much of this is true and what isn't.
Zoie being on a great position already just for being chill makes me so happy. I think people are really gonna underestimate Zoie a lot because she is new, but if you read her conversations Stephen posted with Zac she is very clearly aware and willing to play.

i love Kate's first confessional! she seems really close with miller! he really likes her too. This could be a duo to watch. In a tribe that is seemingly gwale 2.0, relationships like that are going to be really powerful especially if you arent crazy aggressive and get along with everyone.
kate could work with the scott miller and ruben trio. Kate likes Scott. Ruben could be in a good position if this four holds but he could torpedo his game if he is aggressive.
Kate talks about Sam and hopefully they get a chance to hit it off because of the Vic connection. If this happens, there is hope for the unholy trinity.
I think Kate could get a good position that is in the middle of the whole tribe.
i love that tribe | |

Similar to last season, the challenge is 4 parts, including the blindfold and cube puzzles. The other two are RJ creations. Should cause frustration and be funny for viewers. The pairings are pretty interesting for each puzzle.
3 ALUM on the first part - Chris vs Miller vs Casey in a wordsearch/word puzzle. I think Casey will be good at this, better than the other two at least.
Blindfold: Tagish put up Tyler, Corey and Zac vs Sekani's Holli, Jesse, Kate vs Haida's Anthony, Scully, and Lexi. This one is really about communication and patience. I think Tagish will be a mess. Haida I think Scully will have the patience down but not the best communication. Sekani will probably be patient and good at communicating but maybe not the fastest.
Cube: Tagish has Jenna, Lisa and Sean. Sekani has Nick, Sam and Scott. Haida has Brian, Vic and Zoie. I think that Haida will do the best overall here. I have no reasoning behind that. Brian didn't do this last season, but Lisa has yet to join a call and Sean is not the best at puzzles. I can see Nick & Sam getting annoyed with Scott, so Haida will probably be the best communicators at this. It's a lot of trial/error so we'll see.
The last one is a really cool flash puzzle RJ put together and it's Jared vs Ruben vs Razek. I think Jared will kill it.
