I know most of you are probably not that happy to see me sitting here. To better understand my mindset as a player you should know that I came into this game to have fun. I had been planning on hosting a new series, as some of you know I work from home, let’s just say answering phones. So I did not have as much free time as I wanted, but I tried to manage it in this game. I wanted to come into this game and have a blast, and play up to the Chelsea Meissner role, as a Southern Belle, a flirt, a strategic player.
This game has been a battle for me. There have been a lot of ups and downs for me. To say I played a perfect game or was the strategic mastermind behind all the votes would be a bold face lie. I own all my flaws in this game. I did what I thought was best to get me to the end, and lucky for me it paid off. I went from being in a good spot on my original tribe, to merging with completely new people, and having to start over again. I went from having to vote out my best friend in the game to being the swing vote, and the vote that will piss off one side of the game. Strategically when it came down to voting, I had to eliminate the people I thought would not help me get further in the game. I formed close friendships with a select few people, who I knew would never come after me, even after I betrayed their trust time and time again.
As stated before, I did not play a perfect game. I fucked up a lot of times. I talked Brett out of voting for Matty, which almost let to me getting voted out. I almost lost the trust of Fran numerous times, by not including her on my plans to vote out one of her friends. I also lacked conversation skills with some people like Fabio and Matt. Part of it was being busy, another part was knowing that you did not trust me as much as you trusted others. I take full ownership for my lack of jury management there. There were of course a lot more good moves made. At merge I was sitting pretty in the middle of two alliances. I had to play the middle man, by letting both sides think I would vote with them. Granted people knew about it, but they both thought they needed my vote. Socially I secured friendships with people on both sides, so that I would always be safe. I of course had my friendship with Brett, we were original Oranor, and I trusted him probably the most. Then there was Fran, I met her on NuJaruud. And last was John, who I also met on NuJaruud. I knew that I was not Fran and John’s number #1 ally. So in my villainous ways, I had to take out their closest alliance member (Ciera and Hali). But come down to the final 4, I secured my spot coming here by making sure it was filled with 3 people who wanted to take me.
Lastly, I think luck has a huge part with every finalist getting her. There was luck when Ciera and Fran decided to use the idol to get Fabio out. There was luck in the three way tie at final 7. Ultimately though, I outlasted 15 other people. I formed great relationships with people that helped me make it here and led to my voting in the majority in all but two votes. I look forward to your questions everyone. I’m sure I probably forgot some stuff in here, I tried to keep in short and sweet, but even now it is looking on the longer side. Hopefully I can clear everything and anything up!
