PLAYER RULES
Whilst Endure follows the structure and guides of Survivor, here are the rules that we expect the players to abide by when participating in Endure:
1. BEHAVE. All castaways, viewers, and members of production are expected to behave and communicate appropriately. Failure to do so results in removal from the game. There is a zero-tolerance policy for personal threats, bullying, abuse or mistreatment of people in the game, derogatory comments regarding gender, race, sexuality, and vulnerable groups etc.
2. KEEP THE GAME IN THE GAME. Do not discuss the game with anyone other than with your current tribemates and production. Cross-tribal communication is prohibited unless specifically stated by production. Do not share your personal website with players until post-season. Any violations of this rule will result in immediate removal from the game.
3. USE ONLY YOUR PRE-MADE WEBSITE ACCOUNT. You must represent yourself in the game using the production-made account for the Endure 13 website (message board) with the alias that you selected pre-season. You may not create additional accounts on the website, whether it is to represent yourself or impersonate someone else. You may not use any production members’ images or names for your account during the course of the game.
4. POST ONE VIDEO CONFESSIONAL PER ROUND. You must post at least one video confessional per round in your private confessional on the message board. A new round begins following the tribal council(s). Failure to follow this rule will result in a self-vote at your next tribal council. If you need assistance in completing these on time, please let production know.
5. NO BLOCKING PLAYERS. You may not block another player at any point while you are both still in the game.
6. NO CHEATING. There is a zero tolerance policy for cheating that applies to both players and viewers. Play the game as it's meant to be played. Cheating includes but is not limited to: copy/pasting conversations, sharing screenshots of conversations, and recording conversations. On Survivor, nobody can copy/paste the strategy talk they had on the beach earlier that morning. Cheating also includes any breach of challenge rules and etiquette, including giving answers or helping in challenges indicated to be done alone. Breaching this rule will result in a self-vote. You must rely specifically on your memory and word of mouth to share information strategically in this game.
7. PRODUCTION IS NOT A GAME PIECE. Do not use production as a means to lie. Lying is expected and encouraged in survivor; however, production is here to serve as facilitators to your experience, not as a means to win. If a player asks us about something that another player claims we’ve said or done, we will set the record straight.
Please post an acknowledgement below to indicate that you have read and understand these rules. |
